I love their new enclosure and since they love to climb it's great it's tall. And I cannot wait to see the tiny lizard egg and baby. It's going to be the cutest!!!

my advice is to replace the coconut fiber bedding with newspaper and put a small bowl filled with some coconut fiber, this will make it to where the female will lay her eggs in the only spot she can bury. This is convinient because you wont have to flip the enclosure upside down looking fr the egg, you just take the egg out and put the bowl known as a "Lay box" back into the enclosure to wait for another egg!

Anoles are awesome pets. I had one who was quite tame. He would sit on my arm or shoulder if i didn't move around to much.

That looks great! Just for future references you know there are conversion kits to turn regular tanks like that into arboreal front opening enclosures.

The minimum size for a maximum of 2 anoles is a terrarium with the measures of 80cmx50cmx80cm . The one you have is only 30cmx30cmx45cm. That is way to small and not species-appropriate - they normally live in a tree so they do need more space to really climb around.

Just so you know they could have mated and you didn't see it. They can mate anytime so you could get eggs any day. Also make sure you have a pot of dirt in there for the female to lay her eggs in. If you need to know anymore just ask me I know a LOT about anole lizards.

The new tank looks nice but I think it should be a bit more wider and a bit taller and I would probably install a auto mister if you are too busy to mist them every day

I have been working with animals for years and I have found you can have multiple males in a cage as long as the cage is big enough and gives room for each to have their own territory

I also have three frogs in the cage with them but I will be moving the larger ones they seem to be getting a little aggressive towards the anoles when it’s feeding time

I was out and saw 7 lizard I think mating and they all started bobbing and dancing and the one at the bottom just waddled out with the tail in the air

I used the night time halogen light 25 watts and just adjust height to achieve the desired temps

When did people stop calling them anolees? I came back to the reptile hobby after a twenty year absence and now everyone calls them anols which sounds a lot like something disgusting.
