Getting paid by wire will save them additional 3% processing fee from credit card company. The bottom line is that they will try to get every penny out of a sale without breaking Rolex rules.

Happy Birthday! I'm a Razny customer as of this year; I randomly called around and they were able to pull in the Oyster Perpetual I was looking for from another location. About a month later I decided to try my hand at a 124060 since I already had an "in" with them. To my surprise, I got it in two weeks! So there's a good chance you'll get your watch as well, so long as the supply is coming in. Always was impressed by the service there (especially the Highland Park location), they also let me try on pretty much whatever they have in the back whenever I stop by. Regarding the wire, they will actually let you pay with credit card, but you have to pay an additional fee to cover the CC fee (around a hundred or so off the top of my head when I bought my Sub).

I been sending wires for a while now but I’m an hour away from my AD and my tax is cheaper than in the big city so it’s my preference to wire , and be sent but man for that to be the only option is crazy. Just goes to show you 19 is really the year even small vips like us could get watches regularly. It’s gonna get worse.

Happy Birthday Chris! I think most AD’s are past the sugar coating process and just flat out tell you how it is. I actually prefer that. NO BS, no games, just tell what I need to do to get the watch I want lol! In all seriousness most AD’s are looking for loyalty. If you wish not be loyal to an AD, then you can cry online how you can’t get a watch at retail. As usual great video Chris. Looking forward to the next one.

hi Chris, may i share some of my recent experience in hong kong and Bangkok. Only two tones and some very expensive date-day diamond available at authorised dealers . i have been walking around for Pepsi and the new explorer I and i could never get it. i am allowed to queue up on the waiting list, in HK, for only one of the watch i want. and i was told that if i do not hear from them within 3 months, i have to queue up again. which means they are not actually selling it out to anyone they do not know. oh well, seems like i really have to pay extra.....to get it else where....

I know of a Rolex authorized dealer in Dallas, Texas that charges %3 extra on top of the full transaction to cover credit card fees when they sell any hot Rolex watch.

A good bit of valuable information. First I ever heard of a wire transfer to an AD. Maybe now the AD's don't have to deal with credit card costs. So far my AD here in the desert southwest still excepts cards. I'm still scratching my head how my AD received a two tone sea dweller a month ago. I looked at the watch. But wasn't into a two tone divers watch. So I passed on it. So if this new sea dweller showed up. It does mean that watches are starting to trickling into AD's. For the person that happened to walk into the store and saw the watch under the glass case, they must have thought they fell into the sugar bowl. I'm waiting for the all steel GMT or sub. Just guessing by the end of the year something should show up.

This is insane... guy at AD let you play with some watches on your birthday and you are happy about that... Are you really that desperate? these are just watches, just another mass produced item. Sure, it would be nice to get one at retail, but we all need to respect ourselves a little more. Going to AD and beg for a 30 seconds with a watch will not make this situation any better. Such a humiliation is not worth it.
