As someone who absolutely loves halo, it kills me the people in charge are killing the franchise.

They took our customization system and sold us back a restrictive version for over 1,000 dollars. They launched the game barebones as hell and the features we have are broken, theatre is broken, custom games are broken, community page is broken, hidden MMR is broken. And I can’t criticize anything else because there literally is nothing else in the game. 343i should be replaced, or shaken up from the top down. Bonnie Ross and Frank O’Conner are an anchor on the franchise. It’s been 10 years, at what point does this companies predatory incompetence become unacceptable?

This game has the potential to be another halo 3 but 343 is dropping the ball with infinite

I love the game. I literally play every night when I get off work but after I get recharge for the 5th time in a row I definitely get annoyed

I was extremely excited at first. I played everyday until January, and a few days in February. Now I stopped altogether. The lack of basic features has made it impossible to enjoy this game anymore. Ranked needs a reconnect function if you crash or disconnect. Also they need to limit who can play with each other, having a bronze, silver, and two onyx on the same team shouldn't be allowed, period. That's just the bare minimum in my opinion. Add a map voting system in the pre game lobby while they're at it. Probably need a few more maps though first 😂. Seriously though, the ideas are here, why aren't they at least trying to implement something, anything at this point to keep the game from dying out.

funny how they can always update the shop, but not the game itself I feel companies have become really dumb, they want holiday and microtransaction money but they don't understand if they would make an awesome game and continue to add content and work on it, people would stay with them for years, giving them their money also didn't this whole microtransaction craze really get popular with GTA5? look at that game, until now they still haven't released a new GTA and are still pumping out content and they are the ones making the biggest buck

343i should do what they are best at, release a new Halo Barbie Dress Up edition, and let a big boy studio handle the gameplay aspect of halo. 18-month non-renewing contracts don't attract top-tier devs. DeSync was not even addressed in the March update, yay a few new maps and dress-up cosmetics. Halo needs to be ripped from 343i ASAP and given to a competent studio before the franchise is irreparably damaged, assuming it isn't already. I re-installed today, 1st game back, 3x back smacked someone...no damage, but he somehow teleported behind me and killed me, uninstall. GG.

We need forge badly a long with maps. The game feels really stale. Im really sad and worried about the future of the game. I like the gameplay as a lot of other people do as well but I'm worried the game is going to die out.

I love the way this game plays, I love the sandbox, I love the community, I don't love playing the same maps at nauseum. Weird comparison, but I think of a franchise like Mario Kart, and how they pad their course options by rehashing the courses from previous versions. Would that be so hard?

I'm barely hanging in there, probably another 2-4 weeks in me at most, but I don't understand why ranked placing people with other people of same rank is such a bad idea, if someone of a higher skill level is in the same bracket, then he'll climb from the bracket quickly. and it's not like the mmr system in place already doesn't allow a team to snowball another team.

Bonnie Ross is head of 343 and corporate vp of microsoft this becomed a problem when complaints or critizism comes 343s way she can just ignore it with no reprocusions And continue to steer 343 into oblivion But msoft cant get rid of 343 or influence 343 to change when she has that high rank in the mother company msoft The only thing that can stop it is if we consumers stop bying 343 products honestly

I basically play halo only for ranked and right now it feels so busted. Tired of the broken matchmaking system making such unbalanced teams. Im barelly hanging in there im already starting to think on just giving up on the game its barelly any fun anymore.

Could never get people who new how to play stronghold or odd ball it was almost enough to make you go crazy. I played non stop up until right around when they added the new modes but by that point I was over it.

I actually started playing destiny because I of halo inf. And made me realize that bungie should still own halo.

I don’t understand why they just don’t charge players $10-20 for a set of maps and make their money and give the people what they want. They seem so focused on the story line and overall story they have lost touch with the multiplayer aspect. Campaign may attract the crowd but multiplayer keeps them here.. in theory

I feel the devs weren't ready to release till May, but bosses made them release during the holiday season to capitalize on the buying power of the season. Evidence points to May when they were wanting to delay again with season 1 being extended to May, pretty bare bones at launch with new content not starting till till season 2 in May, they are mainly trying to fix server, MM and rank problems that still plague the game 4 months after launch...issues that may have been fixed with a release delay. I understand fixes and content take time, but these crucial parts are really starting hinder the life blood of the game.

All this reminds me of Destiny 2 launch. Poor initial offering turned into a steady content delivery schedule after a year or so. With the turnover at 343 - a year plus sounds realistic as to when we can expect major content delivery.

I actually uninstalled it a month ago. I keep tabs on Infinite, and I watch HCS. I've been playing Halo since launch of CE, but Infinite is just lacking in so much of everything... I got to a point where I hated playing it. I was hoping season 2 would be the one to convince me to reinstall, but after 6 months we get 2 maps (which really only is 1 because they are each tied to specific playlists) and another delay for Co-op. 2 maps, a battlepass, and a new fracture are the absolute bare minimum of what 343 could do for a live service game. Infinite isn't in a place where the bare minimum is ok; not even close. They need to drop an absolute BANGER of a season, and season 2 just isn't looking great right now. I fully get why the pros are worried, Infinite is dropping faster than ah5 did. And H5 actually had support and content drops within the first six months. I truly don't understand how 343 can continue to screw up THIS bad release after release

I hit tier 100 a while ago and really haven’t played much since; if anything on Friday’s for Fire Team Fridays but even lately just haven’t felt Halo. Maps are redundant and armor customization is still limited. I don’t care if they crap out 1 map (would love some old maps thrown in!) a month or every other month while fixing the game and i can see my self playing regularly again.

I'm starting to think they made this a 10 year live service system to combat the contracts that Microsoft allows For everyone that works under these contracts at 3:43.

Me and all my friends all quit Halo… I will not come back until I can log on and jump into infection and Griffball and all those other fun game modes.

i mainly play runescape and just hop on halo for some fun once in a while but now ill only play when theres a good weekly. i grinded ranked to diamond to get the sticker but its not my main game so i wont grind for onyx meaning my ranked enjoymend halted there as theres nothing for me to gain. when i load it up on tuesday and see a sticker as a reward i just alt f4 till next week. if theres a gun skin or armor color ill play until i get it and stop. when the only thing that there is to gain is cosmetics and you can only earn one cosmetic per week there is zero reason to keep playing when i could just play something else and come back next week. ive bought a couple store cosmetics but theyre underwhelming so i dont buy many. halo seems like a super fun game but theres nothing rewarding about it theres nothing driving me to play more. i completed the battle pass ages ago and ive gotten every weekly i want but these days it just feels like logging in to do my chores and get cool skins for the future if i ever want to play more

343 can’t handle Halo it’s as simple as that the game will NEVER be as it was when Bungie ran the show

The Rank system is absolute shit. EVERY DAY I watch new streamers do poorly in their placement matches and get put into Platinum and Diamond. WTF?!!! Poor performance should not be rewarded with high rank. As for the demise of Halo, gamers don't realize we are no longer in a period like 10 years ago. There are THOUSANDS of games to play now. Gamers play new content and move on to something else.

Halo Infinite NEEDS a credit system just like MCC, simple. Ranked is broken.... I'm Bronze 4 after reset. ( Yes, I've been playing for 20 years & still not the good at Matchmaking but I love Halo). I'm playing with Gold, Platinum, in ranked,,, that's not right,,, right ? Don't get me wrong, I don't mind playing against Gold or Platinum, its a big challenge, I get 2- 5 kills, (sad right lol). I just figured after the reset I'd be playing with people in MY skill level.... That's what I thought Ranked was all about, playing others within the same Rank as myself. I think 343 should have 2 or more separate teams of people to avoid burn out so they can streamline getting out polished content. "2 bugs one patch" as it were. And bring back some classic content not just new. Mark 5 armor core would be awesome.

I started to play halo 1 month ago and i loved the game but when you see the game falling apart i felt sad. Imagine how the veterans of this games feels. To bad to be honest

Easy, forge with custome game browser so the community can create their own fun while they work in the things they need to do. The game modes thats been in every halo so it keeps people occupied while they work on new variants to the game. A leveling system for both social and ranked or a over all one so people have some kind of goals

I played for 3 hours the other day and rage just overcame me. Between rubberband, desync...on both sides. I even made kills I don't consider fair. A certain game type that didn't come up after 10 games. But seriously it's hard to keep playing when a win doesn't feel like a win or you just end up getting destroyed from behind cover.

I'm only gold still because I'll play one match then after be put in matches with high high ranking players. No joke. My teammate was literally the 25th top ranked player. They were in Japan I think and like what!?!?! Lol. I'm not that good 343 and I obviously just get slapped around the rest of the night. Not fun man. 🤣

Halo infinite was first halo I played. I really liked it but, man does it get old quick. Was low onyx first split and high diamond. But the no new updates sucks. Went back to apex.

Well after the recent announcements about Season 2 I think we can safely say they’re gonna left the game starve to death.

It’s sucks these problems are present. This is my first Halo Game and my introduction to the series, and despite some issues, it’s really fun. But I’m a bit hesitant to even play infinite at the moment for the last several days because the lack of maps, modes, and even content, and it doesn’t feel rewarding to even play Infinite. They need to improve the game, like seriously.

I'm not a competitive player, I just played like 15 ranked before the reset, landed Gold II after the 10 placement games and was rising fast, but I never really played Infinite for the competition. Infinite is also my first time playing multiplayer, so overhall I don't really know if my opinion count for something, but I'll say it anyway. As a casual player who just play the game to complete the weekly challenge, I also feel that lack of content. I play a few hours everyday and I'm starting to feel a bit bored, rotating between five or six game modes in order to complete the same challenges. In terms of gameplay, I'm having a blast, almost every game is fun to play. But having a few more maps and game modes would indeed be a good thing to keep me playing. At this rate, as soon as I'll complete my battle pass, I'll stop playing and wait for season 2.

Literally since 343 is so incompetent in delivering content. They should just solely focus on forge. Make it so that people can pretty much make their own maps that are detail enough. From the forge leaks ive seen it looks very powerful. Then pick some maps and put them in rotation.

Well In their update they just came out with for season 2. Nothing stands out to me more than priority zero. Ensuring they maintain a good work/life balance…. After the longest holiday break in the history of jobs.

Umm wtf? Why the hell should MMR be in ranks that you aren't in. That's ridiculous. If I'm diamond one I should play against people of close rank. Leaving MMR in ranked at any level is just as dumb as including it in ranked to begin with.

All my buddies have quite which has forced me to play alone. Which then pissed me off enough to Uninstall the game. Got onyx before the ranked reset. I'm probably not coming back either. Too many other games that actually get real attention

This update does little to bring most people back.

What needs to be done: Clean management, then hire those who reward great work. Try to recreate the initial Bungie work environment and cut down on the current corporate one Hire a new team to rebuild the code Get input with all departments after vision is given by leadership and see if it’s feasible to execute by the teams, see what they need to complete the tasks and follow up with progress. Be flexible where you can and work as a team.

In my opinion, ranked is severely broken. The matchups are rarely even, and there are a lot of Smurfed accounts that people use to go in and dominate lower skilled players. I'm average at the Halo in general.... Good enough to enjoy some wins, and have good games since the first Halo was released. This particular halo, if you're in the middle of the pack, you're going to stay there. My squad is one high diamond and the rest of us are platinums. We get matched up against an onyx player with a couple of bronze players all of the time, and it's just not fun...or a silver player who absolutely goes off...which is not realistic if the ranks actually mean anything. I'm not even sure how you can be bad enough at this game to rank in bronze or silver... But they always have onyx teammates who easily dominate every game they play.

This is why I decided after Halo 5 to never give 343 another dollar, they don't deserve any money or success, they have a horrendous track record and those on top like Bonnie Ross and Frank O Connor need to be fired. If the game wasn't free to play for multiplayer I would never have played this game, yeah the core of it is fun and all, but the lack of content, motivation, or care that goes into a live service game is just unacceptable. 3 steps forward, 43 steps back.......that will always be 343 industries, Microsoft should've ate whatever contract they had with them and fired this company all together.

The game is dead and many people are just moving on. The idea of the game from my childhood being resurrected was really exciting and had me hooked for a few months. But it’s pretty clear that 343 is a terrible studio, and Microsoft will probably just kill the studio after this release.

Seriously they need to just put out forge already or hire some of the community who is actually good at developing material like levels and new game modes because that’s all this game really needs IMO is content. I agree more has to be done about other issues like desync n cheating but the game mechanics and base are so solid they just need to add more content because the levels and limited game modes are already old

Here’s an idea. Fire 343i…. And hire and all new dev team of people who are actually passionate about the game and creating content and will actually communicate with its community

My question is why the fuck did they build a new engine from scratch when they literally had one all fixed up from 5? Can't just add graphical enhancements? Like what the fuck 343. That was a bit of a dense decision. Almost every big game dev knows NOT to make a game at the same time you're making a fucking game engine. Just do not do it. Because your engine will be held together with moldy duct tape. And it will rip. You did this to yourselves 343. Period.

343 has truly blown it once again. People in denial say, "don't you dare even talk about steam charts," but based on what we see there the game is fucked. Even if Steam only makes up 10% of the playerbase (which likely a severe underestimation given the countless polls that Halo youtubers have done asking where people are playing the game), that still means that fewer than 100,000 people are playing Infinite at this point. And that's incredibly alarming given that the game is f2p and is available across Xbox and PC. Hell, Reach had well over 200,000 active players a full year after launch and that game was only on one console with no PC version and cost a full $60. Infinite is fucked.

I think 343 is getting all the blame but I feel it has been Microsoft that has been calling the shots and making bad decisions. I worked at a factory for 8 1/2 years because I loved what I did there, but good leaders were hard to come by. Here’s my example of the situation, let’s say my boss at that plant is like Microsoft and, me, being a production worker, would be like 343. The boss comes up and says we’ve got to do this now and this way. I say that won’t work at this moment give me 15 minutes and we can seamlessly fit that step into the next round. Boss says no do it right now or get wrote up, so I do as they say against my better judgement, and the products in that entire batch were damaged beyond repair. Who got the blame in this situation? Took me another 3 years to find a decent job so I could get away from that toxic and corrupt environment but I still miss the work I used to do there.

Beat it n legendary, maxed out the battle pass in January. But I’m not really playing Infinite anymore. I’m on PS5 playing Horizon and GT7. Games that are high quality and finished products. 343 and MS are killing Halo.

I just don't think this game is meant for casuals. Call of Duty is more of aim less run and gun game. Its either big team battle or ranked that's about it nobody is playing the other crap. Even the SWAT community isn't that big anymore. Also if you had timthetatman or Nick Mercs playing this game his viewers will follow and will have more of an impact
