I’m not playing Halo whatsoever at all anymore. I’ve completely lost trust in 343 and Microsoft. Mostly, I’ve been on my PS5 playing other games.

literally the best thing they could do...is take sbmm out of social modes completely. The game has a ranked playlist...sbmm should ONLY be featured there...and even then it should exclusively be based on rank within 3-4 tiers.

I’m 19 in August, my dad showed me Halo 3 when I was 5 years old… I know i wasn’t quite with all the people who played Halo CE when it came out but ever since he showed me the game He COULD NOT get me to do anything else for hours I was just stuck messing about on my own on forge or sum ahah, Halo is my favourite game franchise ever. Bro I gave up on Halo at the start of season 2 . Nothing 343 had done had been great. From someone that has played Halo since the start I can tell you that shit hasn't got anything to do with Halo

Halotracker gives a rough idea of numbers in Ranked. As a KBM console player I tried to get out of Crossplay and tried queueing in the KBM lobby and couldn't find a match. Halotracker shows there's roughly 1000 players from Gold 5 up in KBM so you say roughly half to 3/4 that consistently play. There's like only 80 Onyx Ranked. I know it's a controller meta but they maybe missing out on a huge market considering how big other shooters are.

We need: - Platform and Input selection for every mode, like in MCC (incl. Ranked) - Server/Continent selection, like in MCC - Mode selection for every game mode (incl. BTB and Ranked) - Map voting like Halo 3 (yes, that was possible 15 fucking years ago) - A better ranked mode (with radar or at least better sounding footsteps) - A bit bigger maps with more cover, a lot of the maps feels to cramped but with not much cover to hide, this feels too hectic especially with sprinting, sliding and curb sliding. I hope 343i will fix that big issues asap, becasue Halo Infinite feels still like a beta version, this is a shame for such a big and important franchise like Halo.

Yes, they must give us more content Fix desync issues Listen to the community Improve the Ranked Mode (I just play this) Balance mnk/controller etc. It is pretty fun to play, even on ranked mode where there are just tryhards (or players should be it lol) but the game just sucks at times.

Halo Infinite is my introduction to both 343 and the entire Halo IP. I have to say I'm really not impressed after CE-3. Obviously Infinite MP is fire but that's because Respawn iterated off the original Bungie loop, then 343 came along and reskinned it w/ Master Chiefs corpse. Anybody can make that loop. And if 343 fucking made, it shows you that LITERALLY ANYBODY can create a fun FPS gameplay loop. So..... idk. Ima learn Unreal and go build The Halo Killer, IG.

Halo infinite has been my first halo game and I immediately quit and never played again after they took this long to release nothing and told me to wait till November. This really just goes to show why people love playstation more than xbox with them releasing that semi gamepass competitor with the amount of games that are going to be on ps plus extra.

Just give a basic progression system so people can play what they want instead what 343 wants

personally, I stopped plating Halo Infinite a week ago as it was stressing me out with the continue crashing, disconnecting and inconsistency of the ranking system. Now I'm playing Apex and I'm loving it. For me the best plan is to just go with Apex till season 3, go back to Halo in october, take a look at the situation and decide if it's woth or not

Hey Coach, so i finished my first battle pass right after the second came out and im done, i put the game on the back burner as 1 its just not fun and 2 theres too many more games out there to play that are just that much more fun honestly.

I've had two interesting "a-ha" moments in reference to 343 and Halo recently. The first was that when Bungie was making Halo, they made the game and gave it to the community, Halo was all of ours too make of it what we wanted. 343 sees Halo as theirs so we need to engage with it the way they want. That's why all the community features were left out (working customs, working theater, forge, file share, co-op campaign etc..) and any fun thing that the community discovered that was unintentional was patched out. Skill jumps, gone, tank gun and fusion coil launch, give, curb sliding, nerfed... Why? Because that's not how 343 wanted you to play with their game. The second thing was it almost feels like 343 thinks Halo players have no friends. So, there is this whole season, Lone Wolves, duh, but more. Think about this, why can't I play Rumble Pit with a friend? It's social right? Every Halo game up until H5 allowed me to play Rumble Pit social with friends, why can't we now? Well, easy, there is a hidden MMR that tries to match you based off skill in social. Why? Well, to make the games closer so you don't match vs a to skilled player if you are below average. Okay, is every friend you play with on Halo in your skill bracket? They aren't for me, I'm in onyx and most of my friends are platinum or below so if we play anything, including social, they get stomped because it is matching an average of our skills. That sucks, I guess that only works if you play alone. (not to mention I want to play social to have fun, not to go in to a sweaty match EVERY GAME. That is my experience, if I play alone I can not relax, it is always a sweat-fest which is not fun). Oh, there's no coop campaign, guess you can only do that alone. No pregame or postgame lobby, guess I can't meet anyone new. Then with the above mentioned lack of social features I mentioned above it paints the picture that 343 thinks I have no friends and only play alone, which is the exact opposite reason I loved Halo. I loved Halo because of the people, not necessarily because it was the best at everything. So that's how I feel now, 343 thinks they are the Halo Gods and decree how I can experience their franchise with my zero friends....loser. I swear, I have never played a game that actively tries to make me hate it more than this one.

I enjoy all the multiplayer stuff I do hope they get around to the campaign dlc there’s so much of the map unused and it’s absolutely beautiful it would be a huge waste if there is no add on to the story.i also really enjoyed the weapon.as for the show it was ok definitely nothing like the game with a lot I could have done without but all in all it was ok.

I haven't really had a problem with Halo Infinite. Only issue so far has been lack of some content, but I know thats rolling out soon, and its a proper trade off for the lack of resources post pandemic. Better that they work more on their content instead of pulling a cyberpunk.

LSS, new maps, and the ranked system suck. I have hardly played since the new season began. Most of the slightly known streamers have left. The popular ones abandoned the game long ago. It is really sad what happened to Infinite. As for the show, I am glad that I did not pay for it.

Ranked Tuning? They might be “tuning” in the wrong direction. I ranked in at D1 two days ago and yesterday I got teamed up with 3 Gold players (don’t remember which Gold rank) against a D2, P4, P4, and a Gold (don’t remember which gold rank). I completely owned the lobby in kills and went 44 and 17 with 10k+ Damage dealt, and still lost cuz teammates were far less skilled & experienced on how to play obj. Since then I’ve continued my losing streak because I’m continuing to get paired with less skilled & less experienced players in a game that is built heavily around teamwork. Seems like the lower ranked players are like a black hole with a pull that just continuously gets stronger the lower your rank gets and makes it harder and harder to rank up because the system needs to offset your chance of winning with players that are lower and lower ranks. This 50% chance of winning requirement in determining who you get matched with and against is complete bullshit and just like in Casinos it’s heavily tilted against you so that you don’t win. So much about this game is modeled the same way a Casino game is designed to be conducive to the “Gambler’s Fallacy”, but instead of money, it’s CSR. Make people think they have a higher chance of winning than they actually do. Give occasional wins to keep them coming back but keep the CSR rewards as low as possible so that players aren’t winning “too much”. Winning too much would completely break that “Gambler’s Fallacy” mentality they are trying to capitalize on. It’s fucking disgusting and it pisses me off to no end that they are trying to manipulate people to increase the size of the player base. That is what they are tuning when they say “rank tuning”.

Are the desync and bullets curving around cover issues resolved? If not then I still have no reason to play a broken game. Fucking Halo CE had better hit detection and more accurate player tracking than Infinite does. And the Halo TV show is a garbage show with a Halo skin on it. Don't even acknowledge it and maybe it'll die off.

I've literally lost interest altogether in Infinite. 1k matches on the same 6 maps, terrible challenges, overpriced cosmetics, no co-op or forge, all of which just add up to stressful/frustrating experience. Halo games used to be an escape from the stresses of reality and Infinite just adds to it. You'll find me on the golf course instead of playing Infinite, and considering how stressful golf can be it is still a more enjoyable experience than Infinite

They tried emulating Halo 3 style when that game feels far and away better in every aspect

If they wanted a legit halo TV show. Should of just followed the books or game. Not 100% to the details but something similar. Like season one should been first part of halo wars, and so forth. I don’t get how hard it is to make a good script for a tv show when you have endless amounts of plots sitting at your local barns and Nobel, or on the xbox store.

what is this ranked matchmaking crap. If someone is in diamond 3, don't have some complex system find players of similar mmr, just get them someone in diamond 2-4. Currently, we aren't grinding through diamond, we're fighting to hold our spots against other people who belong higher. use csr for matchmaking, I beg you 343. I beg you. Also, I would love to see some more vod reviews, if you need them, I can give you twitch/youtube vods.

The show wasn’t that bad. It was poorly written take it for what it is but the ending was god awful. Regarding the game 343 will never get out of their way. They want to make a new halo that is completely different to the OG halo. No reason why this game should be plagued with many problems.

Show was not great, but a series exactly like the game would suck and there would be no drama, character dev, etc. Hopefully they will make tweaks for season 2 otherwise put it out of its misery.
