I really hate Last Spartan Standing, but the event is locked behind challenges that must be completed in it. I don't want to be obligated to play modes I hate playing. The challenge system has to change.

It's still not addressing the fact that we need more ranked playlist. Having 1 ranked playlist just isn't enough. We get 1 new map and 1 new game mode... so what? We are still having to play the same other tired ass maps and game modes. My friends that play Halo still aren't coming back for the new season as it stands. We don't play or care about social games, so players like ourselves aren't getting much here. I feel like a lot of people feel the same way, which is why players will leave again if they even came back in the first place. New ranked playlists should be their number 1 priority IMO.

Man I feel you. I have one friend who likes halo and we usually play a bit every weekend together and that’s usually the only time I play. This mode is super fun but I can’t play with him. Hopefully this is a precursor to team based battle royale

Was this ment to be posted yesterday? The only thing I am hating on this season so far is Last Man Standing. It sucks, F ffa modes, and challenges force you to play it.

Imagine making Multiplayer game and you cant play with friends ..

Tried playing last man standing, did eight matches and it only counted one of two matches completed. Also counted 6 kills out of 10 when I actually had over 10 kills.

RNG camo and ovi drops in late game completely ruins all competitive integrity for Last Spartan Standing. 343 has literally never thought a single thing all the way through

I actually like the last spartan standing gamemode but jesus christ the weekly challenges feel like they don’t count unless you actually finish the match and the fact that I’ve had to get over like 50 melee kills is painful ;~;

Why did they think it was a good idea to remove all of the movement tech? I can’t even do it yet and I’m pissed. Plus, I feel like the big draw to halo is play with friends, which most of this seasons content you can’t do. I like the season so far, but it’s leaving a LOT to be desired.

In ranked is it still best to get more mmr buy fragging out vs playing objective still ?

Noob question here, if you bought the battle pass for season 1, do you have to buy it again for season 2?

Season 2 looks ok. New modes, just 2 maps.... I'll wait for your video 1 month from now & see if you think the same as I..... Season 2 is just "OK" Season 3 better by more to it. They cut half the game for release, do you think we will get what was cut out some time this year ? I miss Bungie lol

Yeah I agree. Not being able to play the FFA game modes with my friends is a real bummer.

Any of those ffa modes would be fun if youd ever get to play anything other than Oddball. I havent seen ninjas or rockets all day of playing.

Lss is not a good game mode. The new maps are ok but the challenge system is still the big problem for me. It sucks all the life out of the game and they need to put in a experience based, more traditional way of getting through your progression to get me back.

I'm not sure what so good about 97% of customization options are locked behind a pay wall. Waiting six months for the little content we got. Like 343 can't make new maps in between the six month wait period.Lets behonest the new Spartans don't look like Halo Spartans. They look like what a CallofDuty Spartans would look like. Also it's pretty obvious they marketing towards kids since this is the first Halo that's not rated M and one of the new Spartans helmet looks like a T-Rex. Also could someone tell me why 343 are selling basic colored skins for $5.00, $10.00,$12.00 and before the change to the store $20.00 for the color white. Most of these skins should be part of the game because they are very basic. I remember when the skins you buy were a little justified, they had colors that weren't in the game and cool effects. But now 343 is selling basic color. I guess the future of gaming is the way phone games are set up.

LMS needs to reward an extra life at 5 kills. Otherwise, it is better to camp and hide. Spawning with one grenade would be nice.

As far as camping in LSS you answered it partially. The danger zone forces people in, but the loadout leveling forces you to compete to remain competitive. I personally like the mode, but agree that modes that you can't play with friends are problematic for reviving the playerbase

They say you can leave without penalty, but when I die early and leave I get ZERO XP. So I am forced to sit there unto the end of the match every game. Not happy

I like the season a lot, but still have issues with my shots, grenades and rockets not registering damage with a hit marker or disappearing altogether.

I recorded a gameplay video of one of my ranked matches and it would be nice if you could break it down and let me know what I need to improve on. Still no rank progression, yet challenges that are points based...doesn't seem that complicated to add another "goal" oriented aspect to the game and a measure of friends and foes. I usually swap FFA challenges, but too many with the current event. A lot of emphasis on FFA, which I seldom play - I almost always play with friends. There seem to be minor changes in game play, too. When I'm getting meleed, it seems different but my melee seems about the same (more lunge I can't find on my end?) The AR seems different too. Would be cool to see an "expert" breakdown in any changed gameplay aspects.

Challenge system single handedly ruins the game. No bullshit. It forces you to solo grind because friends won’t have identical challenges, it’s not rewarding, it’s not fun, it needs to change NOW not in another 6 fucking months

Still disappointed that you can’t select game modes outside of quick play like stronghold and oddball. It’s frustrating when you try to do the weekly and you have to play 12 games that aren’t what you need. Sure you can just swap it but you’re only limited to how many swaps. 343! Please revert to when you could pick the actual game type rather a roll of the dice

Season 2 cosmetics are trash and another 10 dollars for shitty servers. The only good thing is the game modes but that should’ve been with the game day 1

Not sure what all the LSS is about. It’s a really fun new game mode with a fresh take on Halo game modes. Only improvement I could see is having the circle move in a little quicker but other than that - a lot of fun!

6 months later and still no desync fix. In fact, it's worse than ever. Challenge system is also worse than S1. Proof that "We're listening to feedback" was BS. At this rate, some Indie studio could make a brand new Halo game by the time 343 turns Infinite into a "complete" game. At least the show is 10/10 🤣 RIP Halo

343 have failed, again. Will check back in a couple years when actual fixes take place. Personally, won’t be spending money until some decent content comes along. And no season 2 has got very little of it, if you think this season is good you’ve been hoodwinked. £8 battle pass and £48 for premium pass. I’ll skip all that money grabbing nonsenses cuz you know I have a brain and respect to hold on to. But on principle if we keep feeding the garbage producing machine they just think they are doing the right thing and for me 343 haven’t been doing much right at all for a long time regarding halo ip, none of this content is halo-esque. Dude, you know what stayed the same in season 2, the horrible desync. Patches, updates, new game modes don't matter. Try to play king of the hill with rampant desync, which is even worse than during the first season. How they suck the fun out this game, unbelievable, shameless.

Obviously allowing a FFA gamemode to let parties larger than 1 to que in would be terrible. Pretty sure that has always been the case. Otherwise, you know some jerks would ruin it and just camp team shoot until it was just them left

Not a single new ranked mode. FFA is forever gone and changed / not in ranked. Team doubles ranked is just non existent. We have all these new “social game modes”. Who the hell are they trying to appeal to? Every single non sweaty halo player looking for casual fun? It’s a pathetic mess. So disappointed

The event challenges that require you get accumulative score in last spartan standing take wayyyy too long. You just get sooo little score in this mode

Disappointed. The battle pass in my opinion is trash. Nothing on there I want. They have add such little content for the mark V armor it’s not even funny. SWAT is not the same either because the stupid other guns that IMO make the game not fun. Still feels not optimized well on my pc too
