:D Freedom is a wonderful thing. 10 years on H1b with extensions in the US made me forget what it felt like. Being back home now, is like being in Heaven, no more USCIS, DHS and other crap to worry about. Hope more people see the light and live free outside the US.

Yo Art, I forgot to ask: would I be working illegally if my academic program requires me to work? I have to do an internship for a couple of months, and I suspect that I'll be compensated for my efforts.

Stefan Alexander | Apply for CPT to prove it's an academic necessity then don't sweat it. You can have CPT more than once but

I'd ask your international student advisor -- you need WORK AUTHORIZATION (like CPT, or pre-completion OPT). If you do not have work authorization, and you are working, then it could be illegal work (even if it is required to graduate). What your Academic Department wants AND WHAT USCIS NEEDS are two different things. Please ask your international student advisor asap

What if someone on F1 broke the rules in past and admit it to uscis and got a conditional green card now. Is this rule going to implement on that category when they go for 751 removal conditions.

ravi kaushal This is a GREAT question. First, did you marry a USA citizen? If yes, do not worry! Otherwise, have you traveled outside the USA while holding the 2 year conditional green card? If "yes" you should be good ok, if you got back into the USA . . . Otherwise, let's talk by email . . . So that I can ask you more questions . . . immigration.art@gmail.com
