In 2015, after Total War: Warhammer was announced but before it released, Creative Assembly announced that they planned to create a trilogy of Total War: Warhammer games.[1]
In 2016, Russian data-miners discovered plans in the Total War: Warhammer game files for a third game featuring Khorne, Nurgle, Tzeentch and Slaanesh as factions.

Total War: Warhammer is part of Creative Assembly's grand strategy Total War series. This is canon as well "Makaisson wanted to call this ship the Unstoppable...but for some reason my uncle wouldn’t let him." -Varek Varigsson, of Clan Grimnar[ The Spirit of Grungni is a Dwarf Thunderbarge-type airship created by the infamous Slayer engineer Malakai Makaisson. The Spirit of Grungni and its crew have been on many adventures, and it has famously carried the adventurers Gotrek and Felix as well as Ulrika Magdova and Snorri Nosebiter on board. [1] According to Malakai, the Spirit of Grungni is the second airship to have been built, as the first airship he constructed, the Undestructible, catastrophically exploded on its maiden voyage.[1] Borek the Scholar, uncle of Varek, forbade Malakai from naming his new airship the Unstoppable because of what happened to his last two creations. In a twist of terrible luck and great irony, the Ironclad Unsinkable sank on its maiden voyage, and his first airship, the Undestructible, exploded magnificently. Here's the thing. Before Malakai shaved his head and booted out of the engineering guild, he built his Unsinkable and Indestructible in plain sight. Malakai was the first to come up with the idea to built something bigger than gyrocopter than can fly, so that was probably frown upon by the guild. His Spirit of Grungi was built in secret, sponsored by a very desperate dwarf, and managed to fly perfectly, despite it being his most ambitious invention so far (the size we see in-game was greatly reduced, its actual size can house multiple gyrocopters in an on-deck hanger, ferrying cannons shipments, has mounted organ guns on the hull, and big enough for Gotrek to do battle with a giant cannons-for-limbs daemon inside it) Aside from the Unsinkable and the Indestructible, almost everything we see Malakai invented work perfectly without fault. If anything, I'd say Unsinkable and Indestructible were sabotaged.

Fun fact : French royalty had the closest think to a book of grudges it was called "cahier des doléances" -> "notebook of grievances" and it was basically all reclamation the common people had against royal authority. it listed things that the people asked of their king from taxes reduction, the impact of floods/drought to how certain officials were corrupt or how they mismanaged the county. medieval French people were dwarfs. Ps: during french revolution you could say they were CHAOS dwarfs

The "cahier des doléances" is not a medieval thing, it was created under Louis XVI monarchy as one of the first demand of political evolution from the population before these demands rose up to revolution as they didn't end up being met adequately enough. But it's indeed probably the closest thing to a book of grudges that has existed.

The Louis XVI's one were particular in the fact that as you mentioned they hadn't been used for 200 years and they were the first ones with a summary a synthesis and a communication between deputies. The one thing I don't like about it is that in the books the gondola is described to look like a submarine (fully encased), while the model in game looks like a Norse Longship. There was also a scene where Felix was relaxing in a Ball turret (the kind you see on WW2 bombers). It also had a docking port for a Gyrocopter. In the book it is described as something the Germans would use to bomb London, instead we got Vikings in the Sky. I'm happy it's in the game, don't get me wrong. But I hoped at least the spirit of Grungni would look more like it was in the book.

You know about Gotrek & Felix series. There's a character i sherish the most, is the good ol' Snorri Nosebitter. For me, the guy and his story are a great combination of fun, madness, tragedy, and epicness. He is a good summary of a lot of things i love in Wharammer Fantasy. Also, probably one of the best quest giver ever i have ever read in a book; I like the fact they added Garagrim Ironfist as legendary hero, but in my opinion the son of the Slayer King should be a Legendary Lord (Demon Slayer), regards to his status and his background. Snorri Nosebitter, however, would have been an awesome Legendary Hero Dragon Slayer. Especially with a good voice actor.
