None of these videos show them closing, it's all getting call backs, which most likely end up in another call back or no sale

Do these guys get to close the deals though? I thought they got the leads, then sent it up to sales people who could take it further. If that's how it works then it would make sense that you only see call backs on this floor.

Dave Robards Dave, you're getting it done! Letting the business know what they're missing out on, and appointments with options that don't give room for a "no." It's the small things, and a lot of people can learn from these two minutes alone. Thanks for the video!
@ashleyp.4932
@ashleyp.4932 9 жыл бұрын
***** Don't agree. You can't give a "no", but you can give a "neither". And just because the chap says there's no reason for him not being available for the meeting, doesn't mean he will be. How often do you call the time you've agreed and they're "in a meeting"? To get a prospect's attention - and to succeed at getting to the goal of the cold call - I make my pitch a no lose win/win two sentences: "I'd like to see if I can save you money on your office supplies, therefore I want to offer you a no obligation price comparison. Do you have two minutes now?" What company doesn't want to save money? So it's rare that a decision maker won't give me those two minutes. Then in those two minutes I get the details about the stuff they buy on a regular basis and I get their email address and direct number. Then I'm off the phone and they can get on with their day. I follow up with my price comparison email and, if it's compelling enough, THEY will email or phone me back to place an order or will likely do it when I follow up with another call in a day.

+Royal Fool I like that also. And I feel like you're able to rebuttal all objections by simply by breaking it down to the ridiculous. Who doesn't want to see if they can save money? No obligation? Why wouldn't you take the two minutes out of your day to see if there's money to be saved. It's a career-long pain for most businesses. Keep on rocking, brother!

I dont know if you ever worked like this, however I work for a company that does exactly this, we have a closing rate of 1-2% on the first call. However i think we have a hit rate of 10% in total on average. And only in my country it earns around 4,5 million a year and I think in total the company earns around 45 000 000-50 000 000 a year, but that i'm not 100% sure of exactly.' However this strategy is super good because it turns you into a consultant instead of a salesperson. This way you will get people calling you and saying, "yes i want this and that and that" and i even got one of those calls today, selling one of our most expensive products. This guy i´ve been working for 2 weeks, talking with him 3 times, and calling maybe 7, however he thanked me after he called me and we made the deal, that's the difference. And yes it´s slower, however i called new people today that i will close next week, or the week after that. You stand out like this, you offer them value, if they can afford it. It feels like you care, and that make them remember you.

Dave- Just curious on the first phonecall why did you not go for Grant's think about it close III- "no matter how long you take to think about it, 2 days, 2 weeks etc. you will be faced with the same 3 questions". Not being critical just want to learn my man.

I question why the person wasn't qualified as the decision-maker before the sales pitch was made. Is it not more effective to get the decision-maker to close the sale without risking the fact that they might cancel on the meeting and never call again?
@FiryaFYI
@FiryaFYI 4 жыл бұрын
this maybe a year late but maybe it'll help you. the decision maker isnt always available. he has other things to do. so most of the time you gotta go over the details with their underlings. if they think it will help then they will pass it on to the manager. for some reason people think that the one that calls the shots just sit and wit for these calls. not ture. they got shit to do and people to delegate responsibilities to.

Love the lock down zombie apocalypse appointment close! Lol! I've used it verbatim from this example and closed appointments on deals. But, "let me think about it" could have been handled better IF you already pitched everything... Just saying, although idk where you were in terms of establishing value.. Did the customer really need to see more or be pushed thru his uncertainty and resistance of making a decision? If everything had been pitched already, how about saying " I'm with you and it certainly does makes sense to weigh the facts we have here before us today'. Go and summarize prospects problems plus your solutions trial close and then positioning urgency thru discounts you're providing with the offer right now for him and finally giving customer choices to move forward and close the deal.

So he's on a call to a guy saying he'll give him 315 different ways to get the deal done and never give up. Then he said do you have enough information to talk to your GM? No? Ok do you need 2-3 weeks for me to call you back? Why wouldn't he say, "Let me do the hard work for you, i'll talk to your GM and tell him that his team is screaming out for this program, how does that sound? What's your GM's number and i'll get to work for you. This guy would call back in 2 weeks and I can guarantee nothing would have changed. He's going to think about it? He didn't even ask what the guy is going to think about? They look good being on the phone, saying these nice lines, and having high call rates and long conversations. But it's all worthless if you aren't asking the right questions.
