How to replace a leaking flow adaptor on a Worcester Bosch 24/28i junior / 25/30si

A common fault on the Worcester Bosch junior and SI model is the flow turbines becoming brittle and break inside the return manifold, normally you see a drip coming from the right hand side or the boiler.
Here’s a step by step guide including the part number of the flow adaptor itself.

Super helpful. thanks. I can see a small leak on that side of the boiler, plus there are limescale deposits. Weirdly the water is dripping from the LHS of the boiler housing, but i think maybe the boiler isn't quite level so it's making its way to the other side via the valve bracket assembly? I can't see any leaks near where the drips fall from. Hmmm the drip is from the rear of the return manifold, not where the cold water pipe enters. Perhaps the whole return manifold needs changing out...

I am so fucking happy you done this video!!!! I was struggling with that flow restrictor. I kept putting a washer between the black but and the white restrictor fucking god knows why... then I could actually get the clip in lol!

Been out to a Worcester 42 CDI classic today with low hotwater temp to outlets. Getting 41c max at first draw off….took dhw heat exchanger off. Descaled but wasn’t bad….back together and still only getting 44c max. Anyone experienced the same symptoms but caused by the flow adaptor? Cheers in advance

Pretty sure you need to do a pcb reset on it mate that should do the trick

@@boilerstobathrooms6267 I checked the range settings in the engineers menu and 100% on domestic hotwater and 70% on CH…. Naturally the plate is the first place to check with irregular temps but that looks fine and clean. I’ve been led to believe that the flow adaptor disintegrates allowing a higher litre per minute which the boiler can’t keep up with….I’ve done a couple of resets which takes it into a 15 minute initial start up but no difference….diverter seems to behave so don’t think it’s that either….wank boilers
