Greta review thanks. I've been using the watch gt with a Huawei phone and loved it but missed the phone features and music control. Now we have that so it ticks all the boxes. Not bothered about payment, responding to texts, third party apps etc. I have the phone for that! Ordered from Amazon today!

Only thing missing is possibility to export GPX files for other app like Endomondo. In my Xiaomi Amazfit Stratos it was possible and I used it frequently and watch by itself exported data to Strava. Huawei has to fix that.

Great review. It looks like a stylish, quality product and would be a superb fitness watch but it doesn't quite hit the spot for me because it lacks the killer applications for everyday use. I'm looking for that watch, but with ANDROID operating system to give NFC payments, google maps, KZfaq, Google Assistant etc. When that watch arrives with a few days battery life I'll buy it.

Why does the bezel show 0-24 instead of 0-60? Don't understand how this ill work with the analogue watch faces - some even have 0-12 on the face itself so bezel just seems - wrong?

Very nice review, great format and to the point. It's a nice looking watch but with no WiFi, no wireless charging and no ability to answer messages on the watch, plus the lack of watch faces, it doesn't really compete with the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 44mm version in my opinion. Bluetooth can easily lose connection around the house, but WiFi is always connected. The long battery life is good but the flexibility of wireless charging is better. Huawei are getting better though and the next version of this watch may well address those issues. Totally agree on the app store, if you have the essentials it's fine, but having just a dozen or two watch faces isn't so good.

Great watch apart from the very easily scratched glass. There is nothing out there to help protect this glass which is a pity as it is a good watch.

what is tick 0-22 around the watch faces mean?

My S3 frontier broke and I thought I'd get this because some of my relatives have them and I heard good things. The only thing I noticed that I don't like and it's that the screen seemed to run at a lower fps and looked choppier than my S3 but for 99€ I can't really complain.

Can i interact with the notifications coming in the watch?? And does it shows the content of a received message for example??

Please compare galaxy watch 3 with honor magic watch 2. It wil b interesting to c a watch 1/3 the price but having almost all practical features except rotating bezel

Hello. Great review, great watch, but there is one important thing to consider before buying, that is not mentioned in this review: For me the most important things on a Smartwatch are tracking sports and showing messages. BUT: the GT2 (and GT1) is not able to do both at the same time. So when you have started a workout, you do not get informed of new messages. The Watch will receive the sms & WhatsApp’s, emails, but you will not notice. During workout there is no alert, no vibration and you can not switch to the messages-screen until You stop the workout. Some workouts do not require getting messages, but if you are in a gym for several hours or you are just going for a walk and track ist, i think the alerts during workouts are very important. I can not understand, why Huawei did not implement it. Forme this is a no go and I returned the watch, that I normally would like the most. What do You think? Does it matter for You?

I've had the GT2 for 4 days now. The watch had 75% charge when I got it. After 4 days it's on 37% after using it for 3x 1hr training sessions, so it looks like the claims of 14 or 7 days with heavy use battery life will be correct. As long as I get a week I'll be happy. Which is the main reason for me buying the GT2. I really wanted the Samsung watch. I love it's style, but having to charge it every 2 days as seems the case with all smart watches. GT2 is a good compromise regarding looks as I hate the square style smart watch. The only downside so far, are the 2 choices of always on watch faces are not to my liking. I'll update this after a couple of months.

i think amazfit gtr is comparable. take a look at it and maybe do a review up :)
