In 1999, Grant Kirkhope changed the world as we know it today by writing the masterpiece that is the DK Rap. In honour of this legendary piece, I decided that it was only appropriate to trick my friends into singing it together without them knowing. Here's how I did it.

At no point during our call did I suspect tomfoolery of this fashion, friend. I genuinely believed it was a game-centric trivia challenge, and being asked to recite Falco's line with pizazz didn't even make me bat a brow about your intentions! Haha, for anyone curious how he got me with the finale quotes, that all came from one question: what are all the fruits you can find in Delfino Plaza? 😂

The Delfino Plaza question was gold - Mario Sunshine only has some of the fruits featured in the DK Rap, but the fact that there was no penalty for incorrect guesses meant that you pretty much named every fruit under the sun in the process of answering 😂
