I work in a doctors office and we have patients requesting this med all the time for weight loss. It’s originally made for diabetics and the side effect is weight loss 😅
@AmyMacedo2 ай бұрын
Damn 😭
@nickolerichey2 ай бұрын
Heavy on the "side effect." I got prescribed as I was diagnosed with Type 2 a couple months ago and I am fighting for my life to lose weight. Not losing weight faster than I normally would with regular diet and exercise improvements. I don't understand the appeal to ppl. I can't wait to get off it and I don't plan on increasing my dosage. It makes me so constipated.

Do you drink this in lieu of coffee or can you have both? For instance start with the Yerba tea and then later in the day have a cup of coffee?

I have to tip my hat off to those who can stay on Ozempic. I was on semaglutide for a week and I felt like I was rotting from the inside out. I am still trying to lose pademic weight, and I love tea, so I am excited to try this. Do you still drink your matcha along with the tea?
@clowexx2 ай бұрын
I was diagnosed as being pre diabetic last year. My endocrinologist wanted me to go on ozempic but I refused because I just feel like there’s not enough studies done on the long term effects of it. I instead went on a strict diet and workout plan and saw my levels decrease naturally. My endocrinologist suggested berberine to me which is also coined as “natures ozempic” since she knows I am more hesitant to take pharmaceuticals. So that’s another natural option to look into.
@nickolerichey2 ай бұрын
Yeah I don't recommend ozempic. You will lose the same amount without it with diet and exercise.
@AmyMacedo2 ай бұрын
Oh wow I need to check out Berberine!

I don’t know if this ruins the benefits but I would even steep the tea ahead of time and drink it cold with ice as like a refresher. I do this with my spearmint tea to help lower androgens in my body and I think I’m seeing improvements towards my PCOS. But I think I’ll give this a shot! Anything that helps insulin resistance is a bonus for me
@hailiniallapanna2 ай бұрын
I would think it would be more beneficial since it would get stronger if you kept the bag in overnight. I don’t know tho.

I prefer the Nutrikino Gut sponger. It's a wonderful, science-based alternative to Ozempic, and the best part is that it's all-natural because it's plant-based. What's really amazing is that it functions like Ozempic, but without any of those potentially harmful side effects. The Nutrikino Gut Sponger helps you feel full by occupying more space in your stomach and staying in your digestive system for longer. These are the same qualities that cause people to shed pounds on Ozempic, but without the risk of thyroid cancer and stomach paralysis. Cheers to a healthier option!

Unfortunately with this quick fix to lose weight, folks like me who are diabetic have to sit on pins and needles when we renew our prescriptions because of shortages.
@dianned69852 ай бұрын
I agree with you one million percent. This drug isn’t meant for this doctors started giving to obese patients because they won’t do the work! Ozempic is meant to help those with diabetes! Not to drop weight that is was your legs arms and body is mean for move burn more then you intake you lose all types of weight. Not fair for those needing and the shortages start to happen.

Are they any studies on how this affects your A1C? I’m on ozempic for PCOS insulin resistance and have tried all the natural supplements that people label as “ozempic dupes” under the sun, which have helped me lose weight but not with what Ozempic and semaglutides are made for, which is to lower A1C 😩
