Drew being let loose on the mic is what we've needed for years. I saw him in a dark match at a Raw in Knoxville around 2011 i think. Best match on the show. The other best segment was also off air. Michael Cole was running down Tennessee and John Cena came out and gave him the attitude adjustment then led the crowd in singing Rocky Top

Drew's continued descent into madness has been fantastic for his character. He is the best he's ever been which is why the rumors of his not re-signed are completely insane. You wouldn't be pushing him this hard and putting him on the cover of Clash at the Castle in his own country if you didn't have big plans for him The Punk/McIntyre match is going to be a money match and send Metlzer and the DoucheBucks into tears.

Drew has definitely resigned and they are keeping it quiet. The only reason to even talk to AEW at this point is for Tony to throw out some crazy high number, and then use that number with WWE to negotiate. Drew is worth the money.

It's kinda crazy that he allegedly hasn't re-signed his contract yet. Same with Seth and Becky. They know they're top card talents and some of the best and biggest draws in WWE. I know they're holding out for more money, but hopefully they're not getting tiny pay bump offers. McIntyre should take a couple of million and sign. He was slipping down the card a year ago and now he's one of the best guys they have. He's already bound to win back the WHC in June at CITC. Booking a PLE overseas at the last minute to set up a major sure-fire title win for a wrestler in front of his people in his home country is more than WWE has done for any wrestler in recent history.

The huge diff between The Rock and Punk when it comes to Mic work that a lot of people haven't noticed. The Rock pretty much murders others on Mic and make them look inferior. CM Punk helps others evolve on the Mic and up their game.

It was perfect. It elevated the match, Punk smiling was great and it keeps continuing and building up the feud between Drew and Punk. It was just a few seconds and outshines everything in terms of storytelling and angles that AEW has done so far.

I feel WWE will pull two angles, one Drew McIntyre wins and leave with the title, to create the CM Punk situation, and this time WWE is under HHH I won't be surprised if we see Drew Galloway in TNA holding a WWE World title in Kayfabe anything can happen. Two Judgement Day coming to comfort Damein Priest after his loss in CoC, only for Finn Balor to deliver a back kick to Priest and go rogue on Judgement Day and get himself (Balor) drafted to SmackDown and postion him as a rival for Cody's title till Roman Reigns/Rock eventually comes for Cody.

@@mac888spectral7 😂Nope, he’s right. You’re nor getting it. The Flair-Savage angle worked because Liz had a past before Randy. For all we know kayfabe wise, maybe they went out on one date. AJ’s past only had four romantic relationships, Punk being one of them. She never dated McIntyre, so that line wouldn’t have “slayed” because it doesn’t make sense since it never happened. 😂 Also, Drew is married, so he wouldn’t say something like that unless he wants his wife to email him divorce papers.

Now it's time for Drew to finish his story but as a monster heel. He can talk, he can wrestle, he looks credible and if both put everything into this storyline it will be awesome.

I really don't think Drew McIntyre was held back creatively all that much or scripted too much or assigned bad gimmicks. Good in the ring, but just couldn't get truly over because he was a bit one-note and frankly, the WWE locker room has always had a ton of talent and competition (despite down periods in ratings or tickets). When Cody ("This is some bullll-shiiiit...") got hot with his style, Seth started changing his delivery, The Rock, Paul Heyman, and at the end, Roman Reigns all raised their levels, CM Punk came back -- Drew knew it was adapt or die. Samy Zayn had a top spot, LA Knight had a top spot, Jey Uso was coming, Solo Sikoa is on TV in big spots more than Roman. Bron Breaker has to go somewhere on the card. Gunther. He had to be real as a character, believable as a worker, and find his own motivation for the character to be jealous and angry about something as a shoot. This happened a lot in the Attitude Era because the top of the cards were working on another level and it raised all boats. Everyone changed, got better and elevated their characters.

Watching Drew preWWE you can see why WWE signed him so young. All it was, was his accent! The rest was creative choices. He truly has IT in pro wrestling, he is a trailblazer with a fantastic knowledge of pro wrestling, he's absolute Gold and WWE should be pushing this guy to the moon, he has EVERYONE in pro wrestling on notice, his ideas and clear quick thinking is brilliant. I'm an of Punk, even bigger fan of Drew! 👍

I remember ten years or so ago, Mick Foley saying that Drew was one to watch because as soon as he left WWE he began to bulk up and show that he was capable of being extremely intense and charismatic. Then he got brought back into the WWE and demonstrated this for a while... Until Vince decided he should be a silent goon for Dolph Ziggler, then turn babyface and have a sword, a kilt, and chat nonsense about William Wallace and the Loch Ness monster.

All due respect to Brian and Jim, this has been a years-long process with Drew McIntyre that they've missed very important parts on built by both Vince and Triple H. He's obviously better as a heel now but had it not been for the Pandemic, he would've had a much better baby face title reign going along with Roman Reigns' heel character.

Im a big fan of both Punk and Drew, but the fact Punk came out with a t-shirt with McIntyre on it, just goes to show how much of a trailblazer Drew is just now, he's easily the best in the business at what he does, his knowledge of pro wrestling is fantastic and his connection to the fandom is brilliant, being a big fan of pro wrestling himself, he literally IS the personification of pro wrestling, as he lives it, eats it, sleeps it & repeats it every dang day, so he deserves WAY MORE recognition for what he does for the sport, absolute LEGEND and should be protected at all cost! 😂👍

Tbh Drew deserves that WHC more than bendy legs Priest, all this "new gen"? Priest is 42 this year!😂 Crazy and Judgement Day seem to be breaking up! Madness, Drew could have elevated the WHC even more so! Maybe they want the WWE Championship on him after Cody? Who knows, but one things for sure, Drew is absolute Gold just now, but will WWE try and change things up and slow Drew down like before? Drew Galloway is becoming everything I think some in WWE wanted in Roman Reigns - a big, intimidating guy who could talk. Reigns could never talk and I never bought him in the ring either. You've got a guy with a Scottish accent who apparently Americans won't buy as Scottish unless his last name starts with Mc or Mac - of course he can talk. He's what would happen if Sean Connery had been a wrestler instead of a weight lifter and actor.

Exactly, but for SOME REASON WWE want to transfer Drews "persona" etc over to their choice, i.e. 2009-2011Chosen One = Reigns, 2018 -2020 Bad Ass = Reigns, Bad Ass Menace =? Reigns again by any chance? Quick Roman get on X do what Drew does 😂 Punk is already doing the taking pictures and posting them, now the t-shirt etc. Lol what next? Tbh Drew has been amazing for a VERY long time and he is EVERYTHING a pro wrestler should be, his knowledge of pro wrestling is fantastic and he's a big fan himself, great hard worker, great in ring for a big guy, can talk and some and can create new ideas thick and fast for the sport, he honestly deserves way more recognition than he's gotten so far, he's a 3x WWE World Champion and if this was 20 years ago, he'd be on Reign 12 - 15 by now. But nowadays you have to get past PG, creative, politics and fans who can turn on a dime against you just by WWE making them look weak etc. Drew deserves a big run in front of the fans with the title, he has ABSOLUTELY done enough for WWE to green light a big push for him, but who knows what's happening after his contract runs out? Strange. But if Drew feels WWE is low balling him or not taking him seriously enough after EVERYTHING he has done for WWE, especially during covid, then yeah who knows what Drew is thinking now because his stock has risen exponentially over this past year and some!

Drew has been the best heel in the business for months since slowly turning after doing the job to Roman. Final Boss Rock acts too face for me to consider him the best, Roman kind of started to decline by being sort of second banana, Gunther is great but not on Drew's level, and AEW's top heels are Joe who is popular with the fans and the Bucks (HA!)

Jim finally noticed the bad habit all three Usos do. Solo did the same over the top rope thing when Cena did it to him on Wrestlemania Sunday. The more I see these brothers in the ring the worse I feel about them.
