Using the 3025D and a 6' tiller. I am very surprised with what this tractor has been able to do so far. I don't know how it would work in clay, but it works good where I'm at.

Thank you for making these videos! Very helpful. You've probablyLearned this by now, but it's super hard on a clutch to engage it, with the implement in the ground, or the mower in the crop. Instead, it's better for the machine to engage the clutch near idle, then rev it up, then engage the dirt. Without live pto you have to begin 4-6 feet before the field starts, get everything running, so that way the mower or tiller is running at full speed with no load on it, before it hits the dirt or the grass. Thanks again for making these videos, and best wishes!

I have a 24hp yanmar. Worried it wouldn't be able to pull a 6' tiller. Thanks for the video. It helps.

No problem. I was curious if mine would. I was told mine wouldn’t but I had to try it and it done great with the soil here in northern Michigan.

Roto-tilling new ground is pure missery and endless rock picking up dutys. I have the same (5 foot) tiller and it works great! By the 4th pass every thing is turned to fluff. I keep the back guard up all the way on first two pass to eject all big (2") and bigger stones as it just throughs them out on the top fer lots of manual stone & rock pick up. My 3200 $ --1800hr 1988 Massey-Ferguson 1020 ,21hp. Hydro-slip-o-matic , 3 range unit werks funominal! I just put it in first-dirt gear and cruise at about 3/8 mph. With infinate speed control it werks wonders and @650lbs an excelent rear weight traction device (just 2wheel drive). I fabricated - matched a ford 708 6' snow-plow trip, dozer blade for snow&dirt work and gravey-grade-alating. It's like I have a D9 dozer with that kind of behind the rear axel weight. All of these dutys presented are where a hydro-slip-o-matic shines. It guzzels fuel [high revs & slip-o-matic] and gets constant---yes constant maintaince and wrenching. Your plowing & disking ground tilling technique is light-years ahead of my desighns. When you have a gear drive unit it makes so much sence to plow insteed of roto-tilling. I tryed my kubogy mx5200 gear drive [ first dirt gear @ 1.5 mph to 540 rpm] was near disasterous---too fast of a travel speed. Unit just jumped up&down only not but had to slip the clutch constantly_-_- not enough low gears. Your unit does the best of both worlds though. Another great vidio man, thank you.

I know there is alot of discussion online since the d series is very new, but lots of people are wondering how the pto works... like when you press the clutch does the pto turn off too or do you depress half way for shifting and all the way for pto? May be worth a simple video

If I remember correctly it engaged when I let off. I will check when I get home today and let you know. I will make a video of it also. Thanks a lot.

I tried to check it but I have to wait for my family to get home to help. I already took the tiller back to my buddies house. I am going to say that it doesn’t have a live pto. When they get back I will make a video.

Press clutch, PTO shuts off. There’s no half way shifting. Got pros and cons.

@@merlinf.2854 with this tractor the only consideration would be something like a pto snow blower. When you come to where you want to stop, you will have to depress the clutch and shift to neutral then let off to start the pto back to let it clear out. I don’t think this will be pulling hay equipment like a baler to need live pto.

How are you feeling about your 3025d after having it for a while now? Looking to possibly purchase the same model as well :)

I still like it. Wheel spacers are a must if you don’t use the quick hitch. I do have a video on installing them. I have 137 hours on it now. It is a good size and has plenty of power for what I need to do, food plots and working around the farm and my house. If you live in a colder area I would have them install a block heater. I wish I could afford more implements to try but so far it has done well with what I have. It doesn’t have a live PTO which some people want. I guess the only thing that I have had to be a small issue would be the seat switch in the winter time. It had stuck. I pulled it out and thawed it and now I cover the seat if it is going to be outside and snow is coming.

Let me know what wheel spacers you get the turn buckles are horrible design I knew that when I purchased figured I’d find some pin style ones or ones with out that ear on them. I’ve yet to post my video of the 3 point hitch it’s at the service Dept now. Been there most of my ownership

@@rsmstuff3178 me to! It’s a strong tractor just not user friendly yet. Hopefully all the bugs get worked out. You asked about the DPF so far it seems to be fine but you can tell a difference in sound in the motor and the gases out of the muffler smell way different than diesel.
