John Deere 3025D with a 2 bottom plow. Trying it in previously turned ground and ground that hasn't been touched in 7-8 years.

@@rsmstuff3178 do you now the difference between the liquid cooled and water pumped cooled I know but the liquid not sure

@@raybradley4939 I guess I would need more details. I do know John Deere B’s before ‘52 were liquid cooled by thermo siphon and in ‘52 they put a water pump on them. I don’t think that is the information that you are looking for.

You measure from the landslide 90 degrees straight across to the rear corner of the share, not the length of the share !

Ag tires would give more pull. Check the specifications for the peak torque rpms and select the gear for best Roll.

Yeah I think 2-16s would do good with that tractor. I have a 3025e hydro. Run a rototiller instead of a plow, but if I had gears I'd plow.

I just picked up a 3-16 and going to pull a 1 off of it. I like the tiller but there are to many big stones where I’m at.

Now this is what a "TRACTOR" is made for. I bet none of the " hydro-slack-o-matics" 25Hp's could ever dream of doing at that speed not even close to the red line on the tachometer. Maybe they could cross the field (empty) carrying you a glass of water if they were all reved up. Hey Man;; GREAT vidio and truely a Great little TRACTOR.

Glad you are enjoying them. Once the snow clears I will do some more ground implements. Working on restoring a plow for myself that a buddy of mine had laying in the woods.

I love my 3025D, it’s amazing what they will do, and they would plow better with regular tractor tires, the R4 tires ride better though, I’ve got a Ford 2 bottom trip plow, and a single bottom 18 inch, I enjoy plowing with the single bottom, you can’t really tell it’s behind the tractor. I run a 5 foot bush hog and finish mower, I like plowing with my old 801 workmaster Ford, it’s a great old tractor!

After that video I was thinking the ag (R1) tires would probably do a better job. I think the R4’s are a middle ground between R1 and turf tires.

Look son you majored you play all the wrong way 18 inch plow Shear is the shortest plow Shear there is 18 inch plow Shear is a 12 inch cut a 22in plow Shear is a 14 inch cut in a 26 is a 16 inch cut your little tractor does just fine with a 12 inch plow and you should be plowing in low range 4th gear or if you have a mid-range transmission mid-range 2nd gear that's plowing gear you never play off faster than 5 miles an hour 80 is too hard on your equipment I have a 85 horsepower tractor and I pulled a 4 and 5 bottom plow with it and I still don't play any faster than that I have an Mt 225e LS tractor and I pulled the same play all you do

I have been waiting on someone to comment that I measured the plow wrong. Thank you for noticing what I did wrong. At that time I didn’t know. I do now with redoing the John Deere plow that I purchased. With the one I purchased I was told it was a 3-16 but after measuring for replacement parts I have found that it is a 3-14 and will be a 2-14 when I’m done. Thanks for the info on what range I should be in. This tractor doesn’t have a mid range.

8 inches is deep is plenty good.level plow while in the ground.your digging a ditch in the middle with the direction your plowing but it'll be ok .disc it out it'll be just fine .
