INGREDIENTS
½ cup (50g) blanched almond flour
3 tablespoons (30g) powdered psyllium husk amzn.to/3mA7L0n
1 ½ tablespoons (16g) oat fiber amzn.to/3zKY5rR
2 teaspoon (8g) baking powder
1 tablespoon (13g) granulated erythritol
½ teaspoon (3g) salt
3 large eggs at room temperature
1 teaspoon (5mL) vinegar
⅓ cup (80mL) hot water
black and white sesame seeds (optional)
Bake at 320°F (160°C) for 55-65 minutes.
Yields 7 slices (macros per slice)
NET CARBS: 1.1g
FIBER: 5.9g
PROTEIN: 4.5g
FAT: 6.2g
CALORIES: 88

@@basilhussein384 You need to bake slow, or it gets raw from the inside. For my oven, it worked like this: I roasted 65 minutes at 160º C, and then 10 minutes at 200º, to toast the bark.

This looks like a good one. I think I will try to make it tonight also. The Soul Bread is cooling down, but I still sampled a piece that had overflowed a bit, and wow, the cream cheese flavor really came through, it was delicious! I hope the rest of it will be that good. So excited to have easy to make bread!

That looks wonderful yummy .. I made your lemon bar recipe.. well I actually made3 pans of them in a week and shared with neighbors.. they were a big hit .. so tasty with the perfect sweetness.. I added 25 more grams of sweetener to the lemon filling and they came out perfect for everyone.. thank you for the recipes. I’m disappointed, mine turned out very eggy and moist 🥴 could I try adding yeast? I also swapped baking powder for baking soda as I ran out. Could this be the reason? 😢

Most welcome Peter! You can definitely double the recipe for a standard size loaf pan and increase the baking time by 10-15 mins or until toothpick is clean when inserted.❤️

Thank you for the recipe, I've just made my loaf, my mix seem wetter than yours, so I didn't add the full amount of hot water, the loaf is delicious, would the loaf of been much lighter if I'd taken the chance? I could try on the next loaf, but taste is great

Hello Kae, you can use whole psyllium which is 30grams. You can double the recipe and just increase the baking time by 10-15 mins or until toothpick is clean when inserted.❤️

It has to do with the psyllium husk; perhaps has to do with where it''s grown? Apparently doesn't change taste or texture.

Посмотрела, на Валдберис есть овсяные волокна(клетчатка, 90 гр общих углей, усвояемых 4 гр на 100 гр). Цена 223 рубля за 200 грамм.

@@ketoserts cups and then the other ingredients I eyeballed it. lol I didn't use a mixer. Is that a factor too?

@@Acapulco_Gold as mentioned in the description box that I recommend to use metric measurements (by weight) rather tha cup measurements

Could we substitute coconut flour for the oat fibre?

@@ladyboomer2 theoretically, you can, yes. However, you need to remember coconut flour is very absorbent, so you either use very little coconut flour or add moisture to the recipe. But then it'll be a different recipe 😊

@@happyfella_tak thank you. Yes coconut flour is v v absorbent so I’ll have to experiment. I’m looking to keep as “grain free” as possible. 😏
