I live in Italy where you are obligated by the law when you adopt a cat or a dog from a shelter they have to be spayed or neutered and I think it’s the best thing you could do for your pet🥰

Crows and ravens are amazing, and just as cute as other babies! My heart also melted when Elvis rested his head on the vet's head like a pillow.

She's a wonderful mother, and she and her kittens are beautiful! And I'm with Alex and Geraldo and Mith on the rat. They're really cute creatures that deserve more love than they get.

I love the mobile vet idea! I wish we had one. Sometimes animals feel so stressed leaving their home and sometimes it’s hard for owners to leave. It’s a great way to bring the vet to you and ease the stress!

I found it interesting that Howie needed an inhaler for his asthma as my kitty Annikah was recently diagnosed with the same condition earlier this year. I had to buy a chamber with a mask and train her to use it. It wasn't as simple for her as it was for Howie. She was scared of the mask being on her face so i had to take it very slowly and get her use to just the mask on her face. At first she would only tolerate it being held next to her face as I petted her then I could place it on her face for a second or two. Due to her age and heart condition it did take me 5 weeks to get her totally trained and using the inhaler. She accepts it now and it has worked great and has stopped all the coughing she was doing. In case anyone needs a cat chamber mine is an Aerokat and I purchased it online.

Crows are always so dramatic when you hold them, screaming away like you're hurting them when you're literally just holding.

My little dog has had 4 blood transfusions. It saved her life. Thank you so much to all the furry donors, my little fluffy and I truly appreciate it.

I had my cat for 4 years and recently she was looking very tired I thought nothing of it and thought that she’s probably giving birth soon and after 3 days I had to take her to the emergency just to find out that 3 kitten were dead in her womb. They told me there’s I huge chance she wasn’t going to make it and I couldn’t handle that news cause she’s everything to me, but thank god she’s doing amazing now and she’s coming home soon. They got her spayed immediately after getting the kittens out. It’s completely my fault for not taking her to the vet sooner. I’m just saying this for you guys to keep a close eyes on your cats cause I sure regret every second of me not staying with her before all that happened 🙏🏼

I lost my first cat to cancer a few years ago, and it broke my heart. Still miss my little girl. While watching this, I was relieved that not only that the three lumps weren’t cancer, but also that the poor baby that had cancer survived. My heart goes out to the owners

I think Leo pulled through mostly due to the visit of his owners who brightened his spirit when he was at his lowest. I'm surprised to see him make it but I noticed how he opened his eyes brightly when they visited him...of course it's also due to the incredible work of the vets and the hand of God.

Hello from Seattle, WA. My mother started feeding the local crows about 30 years ago. Now, I have my own murder! They come when I whistle and everything. One day, I got a present. A. fish. head. In the bird bath. Believe me, I was less than thrilled. Especially since they had already eaten the eyes! (isn't that supposed to be the best part?)

Rats are just the most awesome little pets. They're affectionate, smart, cute, curious, and a joy to have around. The only downside to them is they don't live very long. We had rats for years until we ended up with three cats and a dog, with which rats don't really mix all that well. :)

Our four-year-old cat had a very bad cough. She ended up being diagnosed with asthma. Luckily, so far. we have been able to treat it with a steroid pill that she's on whenever it acts up.

I never thought about pets needing blood donations. 😯

this happened to my cat but the vet found the dead kittens a month later. we took her to help her with labor but they just left her to it and didn't even check if there were cats left. all the kittens died and a month later she started bleeding. her uterus was infected. TURNS OUT THERE WERE 4 KITTENS LEFT!!

This is my happy place. watching the animals ,birds and critters getting better is so soothing .

Princess is a lovely cat who believes that the humans are there to help her. I think of my Cleopatra, she would be attempting to tear us all to ribbons!

My dog lived an additional 9 years thanks to dog blood donation. Our border collie Roxie ate some wild onions in the backyard that we had no idea were growing. She nearly died. Thanks to the vets and donors, our girl had a long life! ❤️

to everybody berating Princess's owners for not having her spayed yet: accidents happen. you don't know that they weren't planning on having her spayed. sometimes young cats manage to get pregnant before their spay appointment. maybe they were saving up money for her spay, since spays can be quite expensive (much more than neuters due to the invasive nature of the surgery). maybe they were going to book the appointment but hadn't gotten around to it yet. maybe they were waiting for her to mature more before getting her spayed. maybe she hadn't even had her first heat yet, so they didn't suspect anything. you don't know the circumstances, so don't assume the worst and accuse the owners of being bad people. sh*t happens. that's life. everybody is just trying to do the best they can. have some compassion; nobody is perfect and we all make mistakes. all you can do is learn from it and move on.

The thing that happened to Leo is pretty much the exact same thing that happened to my dog Chance. Actually, the dog you see in my profile pic. He grew a couple fatty tumors. One was huge but was eventually removed surgically but it grew back. But I guess the fatty tumor went rouge & grew on his liver which grew too big & it detached which caused him to bleed internally. He was lethargic for like a week. He would eat enough to get by & but not enough to the point of worrying. Unfortunately, it was too late for our beloved Chance & he went through so much at that point it was more humane to put him down. He was a happy boy up until the end. You wouldn’t have ever known he was at deaths door. He lived to almost 11 years old.
