You have no idea just how nuts the Brave Little Toaster Goes to Mars got. To summarize: The dude and chick from the first movie have married and spawned a child. The child then ends up on Mars via appliance shenanigans that I can't remember, so the Toaster and his buddies chase after him by jerry-rigging a reverse helicopter(?) out of their ceiling fan and microwave friends and using popcorn as rocket fuel. They then discover that the baby is being held hostage by a bunch of refrigerators NASA shot up there who are really grumpy. After getting the baby back, they abandon their Martian friends to go back to Earth using the hair from this sentient angel ornament that joined them for some reason as fuel. The parents don't question why their kid is outside playing with hazardous electrical appliances. The End.

At one of the elementary schools I went too, on days when it would rain, we'd stay inside and watch a movie instead of doing recess. On one such day in Kindergarten, they put on Balto, and I thought it was pretty cool, but this one girl in my class absolutely LOVED it. She'd talk about it for months afterward. It's been ages since I've seen her or Balto, but I tend to think of her whenever someone brings up the movie.

Ferngully is one of my guilty pleasures, it hits every single 90s cartoon movie cliche but I JUST. DON'T. CARE! Robin Williams was just doing his Genie impression, only doing it over the idea that the radio antenna in Batty's head was making him do all these non sequiturs and references which I think has a lot more thought to it than just a genie with 4th Wall Breaking powers. The iguana was played by Tone Loc, of Wild Thing and Funky Cold Medina fame, and while his song wasn't very memorable, it did scare the hell out of me as a kid. And fucking Hexxus man... one, voiced by the delicious Tim Curry and having the most bad-ass villain designs since the Demon Dragon Thing from "All Dogs Go To Heaven"! I can't help it, I think I need to go watch it now. EDIT: The reason Return of Jafar looked like crap compared to the other movies is, much like most of the straight-to-VHS Disney sequels, was the two-part pilot for the Aladdin TV series.

As a kid, at the Piggly Wiggly they'd have a tape rental section and I'd always see "Jack Frost" (the Michael Keaton movie) and then "Jack Frost 2" (the horror one) and my 6-year old ass would stare wondering what the hell went on at the end of the first film to lead into that.
