Are you ready to fire up your lower body? This low impact squat & lunge challenge will leave your legs crying but the results will be totally worth it. By the end of the workout, you would have completed a total of 500 reps of exercises targeting the lower body!

If you are a woman who doesn't get enough exercise on a regular basis and you want to start strength training, you may find it hard at first. @@Coffee_is_ready I googled it and it says exersise does release testosterone..but women will not get bulky even if they lift heavy..So no need to worry about it anyway.

I did only 200 reps of this and today all my muscles feel sooo sore and it is hard for me to stand up or sit down.. This proves that I was really engaging my muscles.. Thanks Jo for the pain.. I love it 😍

I did your squat and lunge challenge before and Im doing this again. Gained so much weight during pandemic and Im trying to get back on track with my health, not waiting for New Year’s resolution Im starting now. Keep it up… and yes push up challenge is a good one too. Im not good in doing push-ups but I think with a challenge it will motivate me to do more and get better overtime. Thank you

This woman is fabulous. I came across her videos couple days ago and she’s the bomb. I’m at work right now but I will definitely do this exercise this weekend. Squats has always been my downfall because every time I do them I end up sore and barely can walk or move. But I always push through it no matter what.

Hi Joanna. I am 64 years old and have been working out for several years. I just found your video and am previewing it before I attempt to do it. I am going to give it my best effort. Joanna ma'am, I have recently become a fan of yours..I love to follow the workouts in the gym shared by you..I have a request.. kindly make videos for monday to saturday gym workout...what all needs to be done step by step in gym with all the equipment and machines in a week.. I m following joanna from one year but i did this exercise 4 days back for the first time... After exercise my legs were burning... And i enjoyed alot but next or i can say for next 2 days i had extreme pain in my legs thigh .. it was very difficult .. to stand up...unable to do my other cardio exercises.. but i like it very much... But i feel very less effect on medial thigh..adductor group.. please upload video focusing on adductor group or medial thigh ...

Hi Joanna, may I know what is the percentage of body fat we should aim for? I have been working out for 3 months now, I am gaining muscle but my body fat remains stubbornly at over 35%. I am not taking more calorie than the chart guide.

you can try by reducing the range of motion by half first and avoid and sudden jerks when you come up. Hopefully this helps 😊 - Hazli and Joanna

hi! you could try leaning just a bit more forward while pushing the butt more back. Hopefully that helps and works for you to get the glutes more and less on the thighs 😊 - Hazli & Joanna

Try focusing more of your weight on your heels when squatting and really pushing with your heels when getting back up, that usually helps with getting more focus on hamstrings and glutes 🤗 mind-muscle connection is key! 👍🏼
