+Smokey McJoint It's getting good reviews, I'd say people ARE saying it's good. MNS also hit jackpot with Wayward Pines, which, apart from the very final minutes of the finale is pretty damn good.

I hope this is the start of him becoming self aware and genuinely making good things again.

There were only maybe 10 people in the theatre, but half of them were squealy high schoolers, and this oddly made the movie way better. That last half hour? Was pretty much an endless string of "PAWPAW NO! PAWPAW NO!" Best experience.

I watched a full advertisement for you, you gosh darn content uploader you! I Never thought I'd see the day when we would get to see you praise an M night movie, Kudos to him. He tried something new, and excelled at it. Now, If only Adam Sandler could do the same, there's another director with talent, but no motivation other than ad money. Little Nicky had such a creative and immersive world that led me wanting to learn more about it when I first watched it at 8 years old. Jack and Jill? Less so. It's just a guy in drag. It has it's moments like when the kid socks one to her right in her face at the dinner table, and when Al gets all hot for her for no reason, but apart from that, it has no traction, or a magical 'energy' only higher up members of holly wood know about. Little Nicky and others had spade loads of energy and traction. If your not a fan of that style, I could understand why you wouldn't like those movies, but if you are, then you can clearly tell those ones, although made with similar intentions, were executed much more elegantly and with greater care.

I remember visiting my grandma at the nursing home when I was about 7 or 8 and there was this lady that seemed TOO interested in me and my brother. I developed a bit of a fear of nursing homes after the period of visiting my grandma before she died. That fear got a bit better when I learned that dementia does scary things to people. Like approach other people's grandchildren in a scary way.

I would like see that at 12:25 in the movie. The scene acted just like Brad did it, though I doubt it is.

I didn't care for most of the movie, but I agree the humor and the chills are there. I think the girl's character is what ruined it a little for me. I mean seriously, who talks like that?
@heero1718 жыл бұрын
True. I can't hate on the movie too much. To me the ingredients just didn't come together very well. But of all the Shyamalan flicks, this one is an improvement over "Lady In The Water" and "Devil" though I didn't mind Lady In The Water too much

This is Kingsmen all over again. I can't tell if they're joking or not.
@aflockofseacowsesquire8 жыл бұрын
I was just expecting Kingsmen to be terrible, and not have that effect on them at all, so I got really confused for the first few minutes. Personally, I liked Kingsmen well enough. it was a huge step up from wanted and kick-ass. Still felt a bit too much like them, though. I guess me and Mark Millar just don't work.

So, was there a "What a Tweest" in this one? From the looks of it, it could, and if it's as you say, taking the fun parts of his bad movies and still making a good movie, it could be my kind of movie.

Well, I had more the feeling, Shyamalan watch his old films and reflected about, what he could pick out that worked. Like the children with strange behaviour (Signs), like the "at the ground of the sea"-Story, children hide camera in cupboard (sixth sense) or the tear-forcing end-dialog between child and mother (Sixth sense, Signs). But it didn´t get me emotionally.And the jokes of the brother were so awfull, I really hated the end rap, maybe more, because it was predicted before.

***** yeah, like pixels wasn't very good, but he made a bigger deal of it saying it was one of the worst movies ever made. Just because the girl is a "trophy" . I just thought Adam Sandler didn't think the story through and just added that in due to lazyness, not sexism. it wasn't even as bad as jack and jill IMO. Then he got really popular on tumblr for the review and now he seems to be milking the "angry reviewer" thing. But I'll stop rambling now

Moviebob's only good deed was the fact that his brief kidnapping of Emperor Sargon allowed a lot of people the chance to discover the awesomeness that is Vee.

+jaden smithwenhes18 My advice, if it isn't too late young Jaden? Go and take the Lady to see Pixels. If she stays past the 17 minute mark, she _Really_ likes you, and is probably a keeper. But if she leaves in the first minutes? She was only after your money, and Carltons phone number. So be careful with her, and I pray to Zod that it isn't too late.

@nobodyreally83488 жыл бұрын
Never did understand how people thought Unbreakable was good. I stopped liking the movie when Bruce Willis was lifting weights, and he doesn't even notice that his son added weights instead of removing weights like Bruce wanted. I mean seriously, the only thing that kept Bruce from seeing the weights was the fact that Shyamalan didn't include them in the shot.
@StonedGremlinProductions8 жыл бұрын
+Nobody Really Totes agreed. Like that scene where they're sitting at the table, and the son has his elbow bent at a right angle, and then in the very next shot it's bent at more of an acute angle, I mean what the hell, did M. Night not have the money for a proper elbow bending monitor on the set!
@nobodyreally83488 жыл бұрын
The scene that I described only began my disappointment for the film. I mean weak to water seriously? How can Bruce Willis be weak to water? He's shown drinking in the film. Anytime he struggled with water just suggests he really doesn't know how to swim.
@StonedGremlinProductions8 жыл бұрын
+Nobody Really It's established that the reason he struggles with swimming is not only because of a near drowning incident , but also because his dense bone structure makes it hard for him to swim. Also most people with a fear of swimming can still drink water.
@nobodyreally83488 жыл бұрын
Ok yeah I'll admit I only saw the movie once. But without giving away the ending, I really felt like Unbreakable was the beginning of the end for M Night. I get the villains motives but it just seemed really cliché. I probably wouldn't have minded it so much, but the movie had to end with a M Night Shyamalan signature twist, when it really didn't have to do that. I mean I'll take your advice and go see The Visit, I just have a hard time seeing the appeal of Unbreakable.

I cannot for the life of me see why people like this movie. The "creepy" bits just made me laugh and the attempts at humor were just pathetic. This is easily one of Knight's worst films.
@devondimarco60758 жыл бұрын
really? I'm with Brad here I think this movie is a blast and is up there with signs, sixth sense, and unbreakable. it's not as good as those films but this film is not worse than any of the films he did after the village.
@KainScion8 жыл бұрын
this shit? good? hell no!
@deadguy7188 жыл бұрын
Idk, Brad. I thought this movie was kinda balls. The comedy didn't really work for me and the rapping kid was annoying as hell. The twist was also, in my opinion, kind of predictable and has been done a billion times before.
