Today in this video we are going to see Milagu Vadai/Pepper vadai. This vadai is very unique and tastes awesome. The blend of crispness and the spice from pepper are divine. Try this Unique south Indian vadai and enjoy it with your loved ones.
Every year, India observes the nine days of celebration called Navratri. It is interesting to note that each festival day is dedicated to a different manifestation of Shakti or Goddess Durga. Today, I am sharing a unique South Indian recipe with you all. The vadai are deep-fried fritters made usually with urad dal and green chilies. In this vadai, I have used skin-split urad dal and coarsely ground pepper powder instead of green chilies. This vada is crispy on the outside and has a very mild but distinct taste of pepper powder. Cooking this spicy dish during the nine days of Navratri makes the festival more enjoyable for everyone.
For Non-Tamil viewers, we have uploaded English subtitles. Please enable CC to view the video with subtitles.
