Rewatching this for some reason. The songs are actually not that bad for a 90s PC game, honestly :o It's like made-for-tv animated movie quality.

Oh god, this is too real. My parents did the exact same three section saving thing (even the tithe section), and this game was what they let us play in school if we had nothing left to do in computer class so we only ever got to play like twenty minutes in. It's so surreal to see it again.

God every time I rewatch this I am more deeply bothered by the stereotype of the "good poor person" that is Ona Budget. The country accent (despite noone else in the TOWN SHE LIVES IN having one), the lyric "Call me old fashioned but I live within my means", and I agree with moose that they made her eyes fucked up as part of the stereotype too. Just, you can smell Neale's classism all over this.

Those voices are so...amazing beyond words.

It'd be fun to see a computer lab full of kids playing this game. Then have one kid figure out the trivia game trick, beat the game, and have all the other kids crowd around and be like "Wow! You actually beat the game! You're really good!"

Ian you are probably the funniest youtuber that I watch and always manage to make me smile in a video, but man that subtle Evangelion joke at the end gets me every time.
