Hi Maron! I’m so happy for you! Be patient but vigilant! If anything arises let the doctor know! For now water, soups, pain meds and stool softeners are you friends! And resting on my back / side to sleep helped a lot too!!

Hey! I’m started out from zero when it comes to leg presses and squats but now I’m able to comfortably do 340 for incline leg press minimum 13 reps and for squats I can now do past the bar so I’m at 95, which isn’t a lot but before the surgery it would pop out and cause severe inflammation for days onwards to a week. :/ I say if you’re up for it, let them know you lift and you would like them out so you can live a better life. I feel like they will recommend banding and I personally didn’t want to risk them coming back, they will tell you with the surgery they can come back too but I wanted the peace of mind to know they’ve been cut out and gone!! If your anal area is tightening so it's a anal stricture also known as stenosis. This problem is faced by 80% people having this surgery. but in you case it appeared too early that's bad.. Please take laxatives properly in order to have proper bowel movements

Hi there! Okay if it’s post op and you’re still in pain even with soups being had, stool softeners and medicine , I would call your doctor or surgeon! They should still be available to you if you’re in pain. Try sitz baths or sitting in the tub. I didn’t fast but you should still get some nourishment. If you’re empty you won’t have a BM yes, but you’ll weaken yourself and slow the healing! Be careful, it’s tough.. but just keep yourself on the bath routine and remember to call your doctor if you’re in severe pain! They’re there to HELP you! I hope you heal soon!! 🙏🏼💕

@@AleOmalley your message made me cry! ❤️ You are so right on all counts! It is tempting to not want to eat, but to get stronger in recovery, we need to nourish ourselves. Just very tempting....so much pain. I am doing sit baths and “living in the tub”. Haha! It is helping. Alley, I happen to have lidocaine here in the house from a former anal fissure. I know you’re not my doctor, but would you ever consider using it after a b.m. During recovery? I happened to have that here as well as nifedipine. My stools were nice and snake like and had 5 today, but I did not take stool softeners, but I’m going to start taking Laxx-a-day or PEG....b/c the pharm said that it will just add water to the stool and not make a person bowel reliant...just back off if too watery or hav more if too stiff....Ale, I’m 53, I’ve had 4 babies (all in their 20’s) and this is the worst pain of my life. I even feel it in the vag, if that makes any sense...very sore! May God Bless you for what you are doing on here (tears literally running down my cheeks right now.). ❤️ Mary. Ps...gonna take the Tramadol and anti inflammatory right now with that drink. (I was trying to be “too good” only 50 hours out of surgery and not take the narcs, b/c of fear of donstopation...but ‘fuck that’. Haha...that drink will help me feel more confident about it...and my daughter just graduated from nursing and is preparing my stuff right now with a piece of dry toast. ❤️ from Alberta, Canada!

Hey! I am happier without the hems. Wayyy happier! I get aches but it’s because I don’t eat enough fiber :/ (totally my doing) and I strain because of it. But 95% of the time I’m carefree and happier than with the hemorrhoids!

Hey Girl! I have recovered for the most part! So some days I get pain again and if I don't eat enough fibre or drink enough water I had tough bowel movements but when I do its smooth sailing lol. I still had some light bleeding when it was too hard but its slowly gone away I would say I am 95% healed. I am able to lift and squat and not have much pain, I have a bit of soreness but its nothing compared to how it was before. I also don't have any skin tags. Hope that helps!!

It depends on the individual for me I feel it swell from time to time but nothing like before when I had them! So much better now in terms of pain / bowel movements

Hi there! In short, I had some bleeding 2 months post op after my bowel movements but now it's healed from what I can see! I have my last check up appointment 2/17 so I'll have an update video on here afterwards! If you have any opportunity to have the procedure do it! I am able to run comfortably and I have implemented weight lifting again and squats feel amazing! You don't feel it prolapsing or hurting horribly. Honestly, just the act of eating fibre and not being worried about the exit pain.. is amazing!
