After stalking your videos for awhile, I finally subscribed to your channel 😊Here is the reason why: I have perused multiple channels and videos of youtubers who post their "healthy" grocery hauls and what they eat to lose weight, be healthy, etc. to see if what they are buying is actually healthy. I usually never make it to the end of the videos because the food they are buying is being passed off as healthy (or what they think is healthy) but full of bad ingredients and it seems like none of them are taking the time to actually read what they are putting into their bodies. You are about the only person on KZfaq I have watched who buys a lot of the same products that I do. We don't have a Whole Foods where I live so I do the majority of my shopping at Sprouts. I have a few staples that I buy at Trader Joe's, some at Walmart (they have some surprisingly good products) and several items at Costco. In fact, the items that I buy from Costco are almost identical to yours! So, I want to thank you for truly promoting "healthy" items and recipes on your channel. I already have a few lunch and breakfast ideas that I am going to incorporate into my work weekdays that I am excited to try. Anyway, I just wanted to know that you are appreciated!

The past couple of weeks I've made shifts in my eating habits - swapping caffeinated for decaf, the difference compared to a couple of weeks ago, I have under active thyroid (hypothyroidism) and increased and upping the effort I put into my work out routines, as my confidence levels aren't quite ready for going to the gym yet and my head space isn't there yet either- I have small 15 minute exercises with my weights before going to bed and I've been sleeping so much better as I'm getting the extra burst. your channel gives good energy and helpful advice. I also live in Scotland so don't have same products that the US has but have great alternatives and similar healthier choices. Fruits, veg, free range eggs, poultry etc 😊

Thank you for showing this detox diet. I am getting over bronchitis right now and I am bloated from the sinus drip. I am going to get the dandelion root tea to help with the bloating. I want to get toned back up. I am also coming off of a knee injury so I have not been able to exercise for over a month.

I love chicken salad (even though I don’t love chicken) and I put it on celery stalks. I also make my own homemade hummus. I take bitter melon too to help with my health. Lots of dogs to save in 2024 so have to stay healthy 🐾🤍

@@valentinakren8816 Chicken tenders or breast Mayo Fresh apple Celery Garlic powder Onion powder Salt Pepper I bake the chicken in chicken broth and grass fed butter with garlic and onion powder. I shred the chicken in my food processor. Add the remaining ingredients (measure those with your heart) and put it on homemade bread or celery. I use a homemade rosemary bread and celery. Yummy snack and guilt free.

Hi, new here. Watching you in the middle of the night. I found out I have celiac disease and PCOS and I have fibroids. My weight was going up and down and I didn’t know why. I was buying foods like yours but other stuff as well. I was Vegan for a while. I can’t eat soy. Thank you for being realistic. I subscribed 😉 I made some lifestyle and environmental changed too… got rid of an ex boyfriend who was subtlety trying to sabotage my health goals. He stopped taking me to the gym when I got in shape. He was ripped but didn’t want me to be in the best shape of my life because he didn’t want me modeling or acting. So I dropped a lot of dead weight. I started sleeping more because he was always trying to keep me out the house so I wouldn’t focus on myself. I relocated. I cut got a new circle of friends, not too many being introverted 😁 I’m very disciplined on my own but it feels great to have a community when I feel like having some chips, lol. I started incorporating salmon, lamb, chicken and fish back into my diet. Being a total vegan was making me sick and I wasn’t getting enough protein. Sleep is important. And doing intermittent fasting. I noticed my skin was breaking out. Having PCOS is really bothering me because I get tired and my hormones. Thank you for this channel. It’s not like some others that just want sponsors or eating like a bird and doing Pilates and yoga 24/7 and barely eating. Not everyone can do that or buy organic.

Questioni always have heard that you need to be in a caloric deficit to loose weight. But you said to increase protein which might take you over on calories. Wouldn’t you want to consume the amount of protein that your wanting your goal weight?

You do need to be in a caloric deficit to lose weight, yes. It's all about balancing your meals. Protein is essential for weight loss and lean muscle development. It's a misconception that we need to simply "eat less" to lose weight, there is more to it than that.
