i mean nobody is forcing you to play the br. i use to play cod all the time and didn't play the br just the multiplayer. who knows you may fall in love with it. imagine halo weapons/powerups/vehicles/maps and shield regeneration instead of armor plates/health kits etc. could be sick man just be positive.

Yo same. Was paying Elden Ring non-stop when it came out but I decided to take a breather and hop into Infinite for a few games. It was honestly really funny to me cause halfway through the game there was some lag and desync, and I muttered to myself "man fuck this game idk why im playing again" and was about to quit. But, I stuck it out, and then played like 20 more games. And in the end, I was like, whoa, I had fun lol I think this game is going to be *amazing* in about a year and a half, and I'm just happy to be along for the ride.

Wrong. The doc said that Halo Infinite wouldn’t survive without a battle royale. That’s NOT the case. Halo Infinite can indeed survive without one. Why? Because Halo already established itself as a pioneer of the FPS genre 20 years ago. It has an identity that fans have come to know and love and it doesn’t need to pretend to be anything else. Sure, a battle royale will bring in more players, but, it’s not necessary to keep the game alive. If Halo Infinite launched like Halo 3 did, regarding content, we wouldn’t even be having this conversation.

This sucks, halo has always been a good game, adding a battle Royale will make halo go downhill. I don't think a lot of the players who played halo 5, mcc or any other halo game wouldn't like it much. 343 is clearly trying to get people who haven't played halo at all

His exact quote was "Basically, I have information that would suggest that this is some form of battle royale". Content creators heard that and ran with "Battle Royale is confirmed for Halo Infinite", which is a HUGE reach. When Unyshek, Bonnie Ross, Phil Spencer, Joseph Staten, or someone official states it, THEN we can say that it's been confirmed.

honestly bro. this community needs NEWER people. this series wont ever be as popular as it once was if it only attracts the eyes of us older halo fans, a BR will bring more people from Apex, COD, fortnite, etc. and since certain affinity is working on it 343 will get to focus on the classic MP. regardless tho clearly arena shooters like halo just arent as popluar as they once were. quake failed, unreal failed, law breakers failed, the closest game to halos style of arena shooter, split gate was SUPER popular for about 2 weeks and then went back to just kinda being in the shadow again, halo infinite same thing, tons of new people played it when it dropped, dipped after like a week or so and then us halo fans stuck around for longer until the honey moon phase ran out. halo needs a new mode to attract new people

@@Kaimerah i both agree and disagree with this comment...first of all, on top of everything else, as a costumer and a halo fan, i care more about halo being the game that i like, compared to having more people playing it, i became a fan because i used to like it the way it was, if 343 somehow finds a way reach more people at the cost of changing it, it doesn't matter to me and i will keep on not playing it, because it's simply not what i like...with this being said, i do agree that a 20 years old franchise obviously needs something new to offer to both old and new fans to survive, but i strongly disagree on 343 way of doing it, halo was always unique and ahead of his time compared to other games and i was used to see other games copy halo in some ways to find great ideas, now it's the complete opposite, halo is trying to keep up with other franchises stealing their ideas instead of offering his unique and innovative solution...i mean, it would have been so cool to see a game mode that crosses the paths of classic halo and halo wars styles, like a giant scale live warfare but as an fps, with pelican pilots, odst drop pods a faction to choose, between covenant, unsc and banished for example, something like planetside 2 but in the halo universe and 343 had all the resources to do so, but instead we are going to get another br, like we didn't already have enough of them to choose from...it's like the lazy approach to the solution if you get what i mean...

I agree. To small of a weapons selection and trying to hard for other fabbases instead of your core audience. I have been enjoying infinite despite is flaws I'm up to a bit over 200 hours, but they need to add new guns in season 2. For example the shotgun, theres no reason why the current shotgun and the old school shotgun can't exist side by side, just give og shotgun like a 1 or 2 meter one shot range and leave current shottie how it is

well hyper scape never had attatchments and a lot of people liked that game, the reason it failed was because the skill required to be decent was high and ubi kinda stopeed giving a shit about the game. Fortnite doesnt exactly have attacthments either, guns just come complete in that game and people still have fun with it. and its a different studio they could very easily add a fuck ton of old halo weapons and drop it in a BR

@@Kaimerah yeah that's kind of what I'm hoping they do. Because I don't feel like there needs to be attachments either but there definitely needs to be a wider range of weapons to use. Otherwise it's just gonna be one huge meta and nothing else.

Lmaooo yeah "battle royale" just isn't for me. Its not 100 percent confirmed i guess but maybe ill play it just to see what its like, but i digress. I play games like Halo for their core modes, Firefight, Warzone and anything else integrated in the game. Anything else is BETTER than a BR 😂. BRs in video games is like the "watching a movie in 3D" trend.. so lame.
