I take a walk through the trendy Chelsea Market, a well-known and popular food and retail marketplace, to Pier 57 along the Hudson River. Chelsea Market was once the home of the Nabisco factory where the Oreo cookie was invented. Pier 57 features a Rooftop Park, public spaces, and a small food hall.

1) One of the features of your walks that I enjoy compared to other NYC "walking" channels is your running commentary-- not that you talk it to death, but just enough information to help the viewer understand what's being seen. Thanks for that. 2) Chelsea Market has been a work in progress since the building was acquired by Google in 2018. While probably more attractive to tourists, I think locals consider the market to have "gentrified." It's now more of an upscale festival marketplace and destination unto itself, rather than the funky resource for locals to buy food and household goods that it once was. Nothing stays the same....

Chelsea market is a great place to take a walk, but for me, Industrial City is better in terms of selection. But now, it is a great autumn season for Becon or Cold Spring Walk now.

You've mentioned Chelsea Market several times when you've been in Boston at Quincy Market. Thanks for showing it. At Chelsea Market the food court, restaurants, and shops are all in one building, whereas in Boston the food court is in the central building with the restaurants and shops in the North and South Market buildings on either side parallel to the main Quincy Market building.
