@3:30 that is a great analysis of self. i've thought about the possibility of the expectations I impose on my future jits(children) would wind up hindering there development

I had a bit of an epiphany this weekend in that regard which I think I'll do a quick vlog on this week. Basically, I must learn to stop micromanaging my children! I'll be much more at peace and they'll be able to grow and learn at their own pace.

overall a great video. an astute understandin' of the dynamics of parentin' and shapin' the tastes, desires & outlook for your jits is a necessitative underpinning of bein' a parent and 🔑 to their overall growth. To me in a sense & I'm gonna use a boxing analogy(bc I love my boxing) its a matter of "styles". as they say in boxing "styles make fights". one "style" of parenting isnt better than the other it depends on the environment & you cater the style of the "parenting" to the environment in which one rears their jits up into. Great Video nonetheless gonna share with my ol lady and my folks see if they'll give their input

100% bro. I don't know why this notification completely missed me until now, sorry about that. I love the boxing analogy, so true - you need to flex and adapt as required. No one style will work all the time!

Yeah it's got much, much worse than it was back in my youth. The last decade or so it's become a bit of a hotbed for gangs. But, at the same time it's also becoming more and more gentrified and expensive. Classic two sided coin.

growing a healthy community would grow the well-being of those involved and connected to that group if your neighborhoods got each others back, work with each other, support each other, more ease would come from this. catering too your children's logic and critical thinking skills these kinds of thing combat propaganda as dose an understanding of rhetoric & an expansive vocabulary so they can better express themselves.

@@HP-il4xf Thanks fam for you love and great advice. It's definitely all about community, and we are building some good friendships and connections, slowly but surely. And I'm glad you reminded me of the critical thinking. I must seek out some materials that helps develop children's critical thinking skills.
