I'm a huge fan of the Cardo Packtalk and have converted many riders who were dissatisfied with their Sena units. After many bad experiences with various Sena units, the Packtalk is a breath of fresh air. Above all else, the Packtalk just works very reliably. I also appreciate that Cardo keeps improving the existing hardware with firmware updates. -- A quick product suggestion: I'd love to see Cardo come out with a standalone DMC device that can feed conversation audio (via 1/8" stereo output) into a helmet cam or audio recorder. Being able to record video of a ride and hear the conversations that are going on would be amazing.

We use them in chainsaw helmetsWe have adapted the PACKTALK to our chainsaw helmets for some of the Texas Baptist Men - Disaster units. They have absolutely changed the way we do work. We also use them for our climbers and man-lift operators to be able to talk with their ground support. We have even put them on several of our skid steer operators and their safety spotters. It’s a GREAT PRODUCT for what we do. Thank you, CARDO, for working with us on this adaption. The system works so well we are adding more units as we can.

When they come out with a self-driving motorcycle, I can read the manual while I'm riding... since, I'll never remember how to do all the stuff these things have! Just got a set for my wife and I. Just got my pair working. I’m loving it! Can talk to my wife as we ride. I noticed the radio volume increases the faster I go and it sounds great!

Hey Cardo its me again, am now useing your device for about 1 months and i have some wishes for future improofements. I just can talk for my self and my experiences i made with it, am a daily user. I really wish something like a skip cooldown for skipping tracks. It hurts to say 10 times in a row "Hey Cardo next track" if you have to. Why not integrating a function like: Hey Cardo next track ..... next... next ... next... after every "next" you have like 5 seconds to say next, until you have to say hey Cardo next track again, it is really driving me nut. And whats about: Hey Cardo device off. That would be really nice. Best wishes from Switzerland.

Our group changed to Cardo Packtalk Two years ago, They work much better than Sena did and as a whole we are very satisfied with them. I have had problems getting my unit to turn off. The Cardo voice command is great but sometimes does not understand you when your bike is running and wind noise is present. Still it works better than anything we have used.

I have preordered it! Can't wait to get it and review it.

Thanks, just purchased a duo Packtalk Bold. All features indicated works perfectly, except for the voice recognition, which only works once in about every 80 attempts regardless of volume, distance, speed of speech or even accent. The voice in this video, when the speaker is against the unit's mike only improves reaction time by about 10%. I tried both units with the same result. The agent from Cardo on hand when I purchased the unit informed me that the speech recognition works fairly well at this stage but are frequently improved with each update. Please, please get this sorted out, especially to access Siri which has the worst success rate and is the primary reason I purchased the unit.

I just bought a Cardo packtalk bold jbl, it worked great in the beginning, but now it's hard getting it to change by voice command. The flashing light is now blue, vice green. What am I doing wrong?

Just swapped from sena 30k and its so much easier to use and the sound quality is 100% better

I purchase the packtalk bold couple of months ago and have tested it just a handfull times due to pandemic. The quality of the sound and the intercom function is great but the Voice Command is really problematic, and cannot make it work properly, despite all the search I have done in forums. Some times works, sometimes doesn't work which makes things difficult. I would say that my voice control experience with my previous intercom (Scala Rider 9) was much more pleasant. One recommendation I would like to do is that the unit should notify the user if it has been activated with the 'Hey Cardo' or no. Now you can say many times Hey Cardo following by the command, without even now if the unit understands or no. In the Scala Rider would could here a distinctive sounds before you say the command. Even the Google devices (like google mini) notify that they can hear you before you set a command to them. I believe it would be great help if after the 'Hey Cardo' there was an indication that the unit is in 'hearing mode' in order to execute your next command.

Be great to have a video that shows how to set up all the Audio settings and what each one does...I have a problem with having constant static between the two units. talking to other riding is not compromised but very annoying when there is nothing going on but I can hear him breathing and motorbike noise. Nowhere does the tutorials that I can locate tell you about changing these settings or what each one does...Still love my Cardo and no the problem is with me

hi I have just got my packtalk bold but I seem to be having some trouble with it it does not seem to want to work with my voice why could this be I have done a factory reset on it as it worked once but then stopped and not does not work at all.

ive just brought this system but to activate by voice doesnt work ! i have to make a gruntting noise to get it to activate !! ive changed the mic to sensitivity but still pants ???

Hey Cardo. I have problem connecting non-cardo intercom eith my BOLD unit. I do all the steps, it get connected and after 1 second connection is braking, my packtalk switches off and and thats it. Ive bought Duo pack, and Ive tryed both units, ive reseted them, upgraded firmware, try again, and always same stuff. We are connwcting only fos second or two and packtalk is switching off. Please help me. Other device is BT-S2 (black unit with orange button) Please help.

Love my unit... My only complaint is, I wish there was a way to turn off the mic while listening to music. Everytime I start to sing, the mic interrupts and screws everything up!! Gets very old!

Crazy - works fine with your accent? I am an Australian and it ignores me unless I put on the worst American accent..... then it works every time!

I have a 2018 BMW RT 1200 with BMW Bluetooth media. When I try and pair the BMW media with my Pack talk Bold Unit my I phone my BMW nav 6 GPS unit I can’t seem to have everything working . When I pair the BMW media it allows the BMW radio stations that can be changed with the toggle wheel on the handlebars to change stations. The GPS also comes thru the Cardio unit. Whe I then try pairing my I phone ax’s the Pactalk unit loses its connection with the BMW media and the ability to use the wheel to scroll thru the media features. When I do manage to pair my mobile phone with the Pactalk the won’t pair with the BMW media but I can use the radio stations set on the Pactalk app. I am tearing out the little hair I have left trying to make the Pactalk pair with my BMW media and my mobile phone and have spent hours and hours following instructions and everything else including taking the bike back to BMW to see if they could make it work to no avail

Anybody use this system with the 2018 Goldwing and it's audio system? Unless you're at a stop, the intercom is pretty much useless, and I'm talking about rider to passenger. When moving, it breaks up so bad that neither person can hear the other one and we're using mesh, not bluetooth. Am I missing something in the settings or is this intercom system just this bad? I've been talking to tech support and they seem to be just as stumped as i am.

I have the smartpack but the antenna snapped, really not happy as I paid £450, I think this is a bad idea, now I have just a small piece of wire sticking out as my antenna and always losing my riding partner, had to glue around the wire to keep it waterproof😏

Regular problem I have is it keeps making phone calls on its own. Redials last number dialled without any physical touch or voice commands. Drives me crazy. Have reset. Have updated. Doesn’t solve it.

Try this hey siri function at Hwy Speed @70miles. Please perform live test and also answer function to receive incoming call at 70mph. If u can i ll believe i must be doing something weong. I tried atleast 100 times n only 2-3 times works. Every one performed this in house or in garage but no one i mean no one performed in live action on motorcycle at hwy speed. Please do if u can.
