Build Updates:
NEW 3.14 CHANGES:
Gems:
- Vaal Righteous Fire was nerfed quite a bit. Losing some damage and taking 60% of life and energy shield on activation.
- I'll be leaving it in the build for now. If it proves too risky it will need to be dropped.
- Frostbomb was slightly nerfed, causing the exposure it inflicts to lower cold resistance by 15% rather than 25%.
- This won't warrant any changes to the build but will lower damage output slightly.
Tree:
- Improved the cluster jewel setups significantly, each jewel has been slightly reworked! At high investment levels this makes up the lost damage from the gem changes.
TLDR: The build will perform about the same as previous leagues!
OLD CHANGES:
General:
- Saboteur saw some significant shifts this league. We lost some reduced mana reservation, generic damage increases and reduced damage taken. In return we gained some mine detonation speed, mine throwing speed and now blind enemies and hit our regen cap much more consistently.
- As a result I'm changing our Anointment over to Efficient Explosives.
Other Notes:
- I heavily recommend running the Divergent version of Minefield support for the additional maximum mines.

I have yet to find someone who puts this much information and quality into a build guide. Most builds I've found implement just cluster jewels and thats it. Being that I'm relatively new to PoE and still trying to understand everything specific jewels are hard for me to get my hands on. Even though you don't put a video out very often I can definitely see how much time and effort you put into a video. If that means we have to wait a bit for a video im totally ok with that. You deserve way more subscribers that what you have now. Keep up the great work and I look forward to the next one.

Have you checked out trade poe? You can search the auction house for some great gear needed for certain builds. Just google trade poe. It should be the first one that pops up

In summary for those wondering about this build, I think glacial cascade is an awesome miner build, and I liked glacial cascade more than blazing salvo due to the freezing and pushing away from you effect, even with the previous leagues nerf it had. It may be a bit lower in dps compared to other popular miner starters, I played three different miners last league including glacial and blazing (two versions, the mid league ducks, and matth starter for 3.14 both brilliant builds), but I enjoyed playing the glascial cascade the most. Thnx a mill for another good quality guide Esoro. I also liked that you can spend 100ex plus on this build and it just keeps scaling dps. A note from my side, and maybe this is something you can add to a min max version of your guide: Ended up completing the build and min maxing it quite far past the intent of the guide. Reflecting back, I got insane DPS (about double the min max version of your guide (with about a 100ex to 130ex investment) with the min max version but sacrificed too much survivability. I could take it even further, but the cost curve for min maxing past this point is quite steep. The aspects I did like of what I added was the divergent berserk with chain breaker, as well as transcended flesh (you mentioned it in your build guide video). Further I changed my glacial cascade to my helm, creating basically a 7 link through a crafted hubris with three crafted support gem skills. I also added in a hextouch level 5 gem, and a double curse setup, which added some extra juicy damage, but too expensive tbh except cases where you are min maxing to the extreme. With the nerfs that came through for 3.14, I think your version of min maxing is more viable, Tanky, and I would basically just add in the transcended flesh and divergent berserk which gives you the most bang for buck. I think divergent berserk would still be viable as it was way way OP.

One of the most complete and comprehensive guides I´ve seen, pretty much noob proof!!! and this comes from a noob itself!!! keep up the great work!!! could you do a build using the unique "the consuming dark" dagger along with other uniques you may think of useful?, I think it has a good chance to support a fire/chaos build, maybe sounds too crazy in paper but in your capable hands seems feasible...

Thanks very much for this, Esoro. I've played several of your builds and always enjoy them. I found an ancient three-socket Tremor Rod in a Remove-Only stash tab and thought I'd give this one a go as well. I was stoked when it took only about 100 Jeweler's, 200 Fusings and 150 Chromatics to transform it into a perfect 3B-2G-R six-link. So I'm good to go. It feels a bit cheesy to be using a perfect end-game weapon in Act 5 so I'll hold off equipping it until... mmmm... let's say... Act 6. Then it will feel like I earned it, haha.

Great guide. Minor suggestion @Esoro - I think the skill gem setup in the leveling section (and maybe other sections) was meant to be color-coded, but all the gems have blue text despite some like Hatred or Added Cold being dex (green). Might help people plan their links better if they were color-coded. Thanks!

I've followed a few guides and this is by far the best. Every build I've played I felt that I hit a wall at tier 10 maps/level 85. I couldn't generate enough currency to scale damage and progress. I'm enjoying this much more than the king of all summoners build I played in metamorph. It's very easy to follow because of the detailed video that shows what to prioritize along with the PoB character progression. I've put about 250 chaos into this build and made the switch to low life with 5600 energy shield. This thing slaps conquerors in less than one second.

Awesome guide. I hope I get some free time to go back to PoE and try this build. I've been using caustic arrow/toxic rain Pathfinder and went pretty well, but it really starts to fall off if you don't get a +lvl bow. The survivability with all the additional flask effect is crazy tho

Hello, thank you. In your current 11/8 version of PoB, there are no cluster jewels for $$$ and $$$$ trees (respectively, expect 1 and 2 jewels) And in your 6 jewels version ($$$$$) , only large ones are present.

For anyone that doesnt like the targeting issues GC mines can have. Swap GC mines with Purifying Flame mines, and swap all the cold stats with fire or phys stats, and see how you like that. I've played both, and really prefer the PF miner over the GC miner. Great guide Esoro! Really top notch stuff!

Great build, great video. With the cluster jewels (medium) I assume you aren’t using the normal (mine,crit chance, Es) jewels in them right? I ask as PoB shows lvl95 char and afaik there isn’t enough passive points to fill a 5 passive medium?
