thank you very much for this video lynn, few months ago I tried to help a friend by forwarding a picture of her ear to my piercer to see if they could tell she had the anatomy for an industrial and my piercer told me she must make an appointment and go, I didn't understand why, but thanks to this video now I know.

Your videos are always so spot on to bad experiences I have had! Wasted money on both bridge and genital photo troubleshooting with Elayne Angel in which she basically just tried to do a sponsor ad for Briotech.

Great video as always! I remember before I got my industrial done, I posted some edited photos of myself on the piercing subreddit, basically trying out piercing placements for fun and to get some opinions on what suited me. On one of the photos I had drawn in an industrial, and someone in the comments told me that one was probably not gonna work with my ear. I was bummed but decided to get a professional opinion anyway. After examining it for a while the piercer approved and I got the piercing! I definitely don't have the most perfect industrial ear, and it's still a rough heal, but it's getting better and better every day and I love it so much! Back to the video though, a piercer offering their opinion on anatomy online is irresponsible enough, but charging for it (esp when it's hundreds of dollars) feels soo scammy! I didn't know this was a thing - thanks for educating! I love watching your videos and I wish I could get pierced by you. Sadly, living in Germany I don't think that will be possible 😅

Thank you so much for making this video (and other informative videos like this)! I get how convenient it would be to be able to just show someone a picture but there's so much thought that goes into proper placement for piercings I wouldn't trust it, especially not after watching this! Thank you for working hard to keep people informed and safe!

Theres only one studio i go to now and the reason is the piercer told me no for a piercing i wanted and it was the first time someone had said no and then they explained why my anatomy wasnt going to work. I only trust them now 😅
