Physics Nobel Prize 2022 in a way proved that the world that we see may not be real.
Physics Nobel Prize 2022 was awarded to John Clauser, Alain Aspect and Anton Zeilinger for their experiments on Quantum Entanglement. Quantum Entanglement is a part of Quantum Mechanics- Quantum Mechanics is the branch of science that studies about the properties of nature on a very tiny scale,i.e., on the scale of atoms, sub-atomic particles and light.
They have been conducting experiments to verify the Bell Inequality in order to find the presence of hidden variables in the entangled particles. This was crucial in solving the EPR paradox. They conducted the experiments, and by verifying its results, they could prove that bell inequalities are not met by quantum particles, and hence there are no hidden variables in Quantum Mechanics. These observations open new opportunities in modern science using the vast possibilities of the Phenomenon of Quantum Entanglement.
But the most interesting part of these experiments is that it settled a long-standing Debate in the history of Science which lasted for almost a century. The Great Bohr - Einstein Debate.

2022-ലെ ഫിസിക്‌സ് നോബൽ സമ്മാനം ജോൺ ക്ലോസർ, അലൈൻ ആസ്പെക്റ്റ്, ആന്റൺ സെലിംഗർ എന്നിവർക്ക് Quantum entanglementഇനെ കുറിചുള്ള അവരുടെ പരീക്ഷണങ്ങൾക്ക് ലഭിച്ചു. ക്വാണ്ടം മെക്കാനിക്‌സിന്റെ ഭാഗമാണ് ക്വാണ്ടംഎൻടാംഗിൾമെൻറ്. ക്വാണ്ടം മെക്കാനിക്‌സ് എന്നത് വളരെ ചെറിയ ലോകത്തെ പഠിക്കുന്ന ശാസ്ത്രശാഖയാണ്, അതായത്, ആറ്റങ്ങൾ, Sub-Atomic കണികകൾ, പ്രകാശം എന്നിവയുടെ സ്കെയിലിൽ.
Entanglement കണങ്ങളിൽ Hidden Variablesഇന്റെ സാന്നിധ്യം കണ്ടെത്തുന്നതിനായി Bell Inequality പരിശോധിക്കാൻ അവർ പരീക്ഷണങ്ങൾ നടത്തിവന്നിരുന്നു . ഞാൻ കേട്ടിട്ടുള്ളതിൽ വച്ച് ഏറ്റവും കൃത്യതയാർന്ന വിവരണം. ഇതിന് ഒരു തവണയല്ല ആയിരം തവണ ലൈക് ചെയ്താലും മതിയാകില്ല. ഇത്രയും കണ്ടെന്റ് ചെറിയ സമയത്തിനുള്ളിൽ എത്ര ഭംഗിയായാണ് താങ്കൾ അവതരിപ്പുക്കുന്നത്. താങ്കൾ ഒരു അദ്ധ്യാപകൻ ആണെന്ന് വിശ്വസിക്കാൻ ആണ് എനിക്കിഷ്ട്ടം. അങ്ങിനെ ആണെങ്കിൽ ആ സ്റ്റുഡന്റസ് എന്ത് ഭാഗ്യം ഉള്ളവരാണ്. ദയവായി ഇതു തുടരുക.

Your explanation is truly brilliant. One question that came to my mind is that if two quantum particles decide their spin only at the time of measurement, is it liable to a continuous change subsequently? If that happens the entangled particle also has to behave in the opposite way warranting a continuous and mysterious way of communication? I anticipate that if that happens it would immediately disprove Einstein's hidden variable theory. But because of its obscurity to understand, I am trying clear the doubt.

Depends on the theory. Local hidden variables are not possible due to Bells theorem. However that does not yet rule out nonlocal hidden variables. So it *may* be possible to send signals using entangled particles furthermore these signals could be instantaneous (faster than light). However in the commonly accepted Copenhagen interpretation, such communication is not possible. In other theories, it may become possible. The fundamental reason for this is because we cannot really look at things in terms of two single entangled particles; rather all experiments are described in terms of statistics on ensembles. This is the great difficulty to establish the right interpretation.

A very good explanation in Malayalam regarding the controversies surrounding the strange behavior at the quantum scales. The video tells us towards the end of the video that what Einstein had postulated as a "hidden variable" has been falsified through more recent experiments by Zelinger and others. Einstein had postulated the "hidden variable" only to avoid being confronted with the paradox of "instantaneous information transfer" (regarding the opposite spin directions of spatially separated electrons and positrons, each of which were separated out of a single photon at an earlier time and space). The recent findings too do NOT in any way answer the question that Einstein had once asked Niels Bohr:- "You mean the moon comes into existence only when we look at this?"! What the recent findings do is to show that "hidden variable" is not the explanation for the "action at a distance" among electrons and positrons. The very existence of electrons, positrons and photons when not observed is/was never under real dispute in Physics, (as it still is in some lazy philosophies that view "experimentation" on external/ objective reality as superfluous!) Can there be other explanations for the "instantaneous action at a distance at the scale of electrons and positrons" that we do not clearly know as of now? Could this be because of the "geometry" of space-time? That is what remains to be unraveled by future experiments and studies on the objective reality around "observers"!

There are two things. 1.) Einstein's Question about the moon is only just for an exaggeration of the weirdness of Quantum Mechanics. Neither Einstein nor Bohr will argue that Moon is not there when we are not looking at it. Because, on the macroscopic scale, quantum mechanics works differently. 2.) Hidden Variables can also explain the Measurement effects. Quantum mechanics says that any quantum particle (not just entangled particles) exists as a mixture of states until measured. They take up any particular state only when measured, and that happens purely randomly. But hidden variable says that, even before measurement, the information about what state it should take while measured is embedded in the particle itself as a hidden variable, and the act of measurement is only just revealing that pre-existing choice. In this way, the concept of creating reality just by observing a particle can be ruled out by that explanation The only problem is that the Hidden variable theorem got disproved.
