So it's like 007 Legends in the sense that they took a well-loved franchise, gave it a mediocre gameplay set-up, and chopped up the stories so that the original plots are nigh unrecognizable. At least Rambo didn't lock its closing levels behind free DLC that's no longer available, unlike Legends, which did.

You have to wonder if this game was actually made as the result of a joke. Like, some programmers got together, made this hunk of glitchy garbage, and sent it as a prank, intending to laugh it off and get on with their lives, but their boss accepted it and published it, thinking it was real. That's my guess, because there's no way a pile of junk like this got made with the intent of making money.

"He's a man not a good." The only original line of dialogue in this game ladies and gentlemen. Also that final boss with the chopper looks impossible. There is a difference between making a final boss that is challenging then there is making a final boss that is downright cheap. In addition to the boss itself all the games worst elements are poured together into an unholy mixture of bile that makes it one of the worst final stages in history.

Yeah, I know, confusing considering it clearly comes from the root "grenade", but it's actually pronounced greh-nah-DEER (the all caps syllable is stressed). I bought this for 6 pounds in cex a couple of days ago, I want a refund. I knew it was bad going in but didn't realise how bad.Your review is spot on and I managed to get the rambo 3 level at the same checkpoint with the grenadier and it has broke me mentally haha.I will change strategy and boost my toughness as rage only revives you to get shot again 2 seconds later when you try to reload and you get a jam or have no cover.I live in the uk very close to where reef is based, part of me wants to pay them a visit and play out the end of rambo 2 and destroy all their hardware.These people should not be allowed to make anymore of these.I feel like I have PTSD and nearly snapped the disc a few times.I tried ducking for cover reloading with perfect timing, going full on Rambo and just shooting from the hip, harsh language everything and then I get trautman shouting at me and rambo saying "hes seen worse". That actually is quite funny as is how shit the animation, voice acting and how noone really looks vietnamese, but a variant of the sheriff character.I bought this game as I grew up with and still love the films.The latest installment last blood I think is gunna be nearly as bad as this game.It looks like just any other rescent stallone film and see no link to the character except the name.Rambo to me is dead, except NOTHING IS OVER.....NOTHING YOU DONT JUST TURN IT OFF............click.

I think you're the first person ever to review the expansion for Rambo: The Video Game. Now I know why. I do have a suggestion, why don't you buy a controller for PC? I mean, you could probably get it for around $40 and it'll help with playing action game and sloppily ported game.

Hey Jadow, you should try Contagion. Contagion is a zombie shooter that uses co-op based gameplay. It's on steam for like $10.00. It doesn't have pop up cover based shooting, cause most of the enemies are zombies, and I know how much you hate that sort of thing. It has good single player and co-operative modes too. There is both online and local multiplayer (hallelujah!), and it's tons of fun. I know how much you dislike online players, but most of the game modes are co-op! So please, do yourself a favor and check it out, and maybe do a review on it too!

I've played this game with PS move and it was quite enjoyable, also didn't noticed any bugs, like with rage mode duration. Maybe PC ver is quite inferior. Even tho other issues are legit game is playbe with a right control. By right control I mean Move of course.

Regarding the hit-reg in the game: It´s a bit hard to explain but I´ll try anyway, The way the game shoves damage down your throat is entirely made by an rng (at least it feels like it). Try it out by standing in front of a single enemy; you get hit regardless if he shoots or not. Maybe they patched it but I doubt it.

There's a pair of legitimately good licensed EA Nerf rail-shooters on the Wii called Nerf N-Strike and Nerf N-Strike Elite. They're kinda gimmicky, but they have way more variety and are a lot less buggy than this piece of shit.

Did you know there already is a Rambo on rails shooter created in 2008 by Sega for the arcade? That game does pretty much everything this 2014 hunk of sh*t tried and failed to do and is over all a much better representation of what a Rambo video game should be.
