This calming meditation to manage and prevent panic attacks is for you if you're experiencing a panic attack or struggling with anxiety. You're not alone and you can reclaim control. In this meditation I'll guide you through a life-changing meditation practice designed to alleviate panic attacks.
As a clinical psychologist with years of experience in helping individuals overcome anxiety, I know how common it is to feel overwhelmed, trapped, and scared. Experiencing a panic attack can make you want to avoid another one so much that it prevents you from doing things you enjoy.
But remember, you have the power within you to regain control. This meditation practice is designed to be accessible to anyone, regardless of your level of experience with meditation. I invite you to approach this session with an open mind and a willingness to explore new possibilities.

I research, write, narrate and edit free Guided Meditation videos for people who are suffering with anxiety and/or chronic illnesses. I qualified as a Clinical Psychologist in 2004 but started creating relaxation resources for my clinical clients even before that (using a tape recorder 🖭).

Thank you so so much for this. It brought tears to my eyes. I have to attend court this morning for a trial regarding child support owed to me, and I have been an anxious mess for weeks. This meditation has helped me before my big day. Thank you for your help. ❤

@@Lynda-oo7ey ​​⁠I feel you. With IBS and functional dyspepsia, my attention is focused daily on my gut sensations and then it has taken a toll on my psychological state. Now, every time I feel something, I am afraid I will be sick. But with guided meditation, tailored diet, mindfulness, and exposure therapy, I am getting better. I wish you the best.

@@funnigurl13 I feel for you. I am glad to report that I continue to get better and things I am doing seem to continue help. I do multiple things. I follow the Low FODMAP diet with certain exceptions in high fodmap quantities. I follow a gastroparesis friendly diet. I cook everything besides bananas and avocados. I eat whole organic food, no processed food. I cut all sugars besides whole fruits and carbs like potatoes and root vegetables. I ear high quality protein (i adjust my macros to what works for me, sometimes its high starch or sometimes high protein) I eat dairy free (besides grass feed ghee) and gluten free. Grains and seeds were irritants for me, so i cut that too. I don’t drink alcohol or caffeine. I do intermittent fasting following the Fast Like a Girl book by Mindy Peltz. I know all of that sounds extremely restrictive but my meals are actually wonderful and i get a lot of pleasure making them. I eat twice a day now instead of 7!! Massive improvement. I am also looking into the health of my cycle. I am 42 and I realize I am in perimenopause and hormones are starting to fluctuate, which is starting to realize has an impact on digestion and mood. I recommend the book the Hormones Repair Manual by Lara Briden. This is also helping. I take supplements such as probiotics, magnesium, zinc, krill oil, digestive enzymes, vitamin D. For my iron i eat chicken hearts and grassfed beef liver with vitamin C. I also eat a lot of soups with home made bine broth. I do daily red light therapy. I work on my sleep hygiene to have a good circadian rhythm. I cut back my work hours, stopped overtime, i see a psychologist, i journal my thoughts and life lessons, i started to integrate yoga. I changed for a motorized standing desk and a walking pad. I continue getting tests to track physical improvement. I feel for you and i wish you the best. I hope something in there can help you.

This was amazing!!! i felt one coming on so decided to try this as had been suggested to try a guided meditation and this was so brilliant. Immediately calmed me, you’re voice is extremely reassuring and calming 😊

Clare, I love your soothing voice. In this meditation there is one word which I truly wish was different, "fearless," maybe because the word "fear" is a part of it. I wish the word was "SAFE." I hope you don't mind this feedback.

💯 I’ve always suffered with anxiety & trying to to use natural remedies but the last two years of periomenopause has completely stolen any of my happiness & sanity. My anxiety has turned into an almost daily panic disorder. I have panic attacks about ridiculous things but still cannot seem to relay that to my brain. ☹️
