I use to do this when I was practicing boxing. The main reason was to lose weight and gain endurance. Let me be honest, this workout is difficult and it takes immense motivation to get to the level of consistency. But it's equally rewarding indeed as I realize that it retunes the metabolism on whole. Meaning, the body builds more muscles and less fat from what it consumes. Best of luck and stay motivated folks!

I just came across your video seen the workout you was doing and immediately subscribed. Brought back memories when I was in my early 20s always out partying with the guys and gals I let myself go, blew up to 240ish lb from 145 lb. Long story short, I got tired of being fat and wanted to get fit again, but without a gym membership or any equipments I was stuck with doing push-ups, sit-ups, pull-ups, and mixing it up with jump ropes and or a 3 mile run every single day for 3 years even after I had reached my target weight. It was hard at first only able to do about 7 reps of each, but I kept at it I was determined. 6 months later I was 90 lbs lighter and hitting a thousand reps push-ups, sit-ups 10 sets of 100 reps like it was nothing. Now at 42 years old married with 4 kids and weighting about 220ish lbs I've been lacking that drive to get fit again, but your video just lit that fire in me and has given me that motivation I've been needing so thank you man!

@@brianahernofficial Not me, I'll do my workouts (usually only 45 minutes - it would take me hours to do this workout here) after a 24 to 72 hour fast while on Carnivore diet. 30 minutes to an hour after working out at the tail-end of my long-fast, I'll break the fast with breakfast combined with lunch/dinner just beef or meat and fats, no carbs (which are deathly to breaking a fast), then I won't eat until 24 hours later going to BJJ class before I break that fast too. I feel strongest at the tail end of a fast (with electrolytes). It sounds counter intuitive, but for me at least, it works.

I got fragile af furniture and things around my house so pull-ups and bodyweight rows are not feasible for my situation and I live far from lots of places. What can I use to replace this and will it produce as much results as bodyweight rows or will there be a difference and what would that be? If it produces less results would it be less by a small margin as in slightly less or a lot less?

Honestly there’s nothing that can replace bodyweight rows and pull-ups. You could get some kettle bells or dumbbells to hit bent over rows but that would be become something different. Still can make it work tho. I suggest going to the park or finding a light pole outside and hitting the bodyweight rows.

Did you ever do kettlebells? I'm your age and I've been doing them for 2 months to help build strength for BJJ. I've always shadowboxed and jump-roped, pullups, pushups, but the kettlebells are a new one for me. After 2 weeks at one weight, I feel I'm ready to bump it up 5 lbs more, but it's getting expensive buying these things. I'm currently at 45 lbs, with a goal to reach 65 lbs, which would be 40% of my body weight at 165 at 6'2." In October 2022, I weighed 202lbs but got COVID which dropped me 15 lbs then I switched to carnivore which dropped me another 5 lbs, then I started fasting which dropped me another 10-15 lbs. The more I fast, the more I drop, and the stronger/faster/higher stamina I get.

@Chez Thank you for sharing this workout. I use this workout on my low impact day, meaning not too hard on my joints. Those towel pulls have helped increase my grip strength and build definition in my traps, delts and lats. Most people don't know about this towel movement but it's genius. Thanks for the tips......
