This is the NoFap Timeline PART 2. In my video nofap timeline, part 1 we talked about how long it takes to get nofap benefits for those who are NOT addicted.
Watch PART 1 HERE►► • NoFap Benefits Timelin...
DISCLAIMERS...
#1 My videos are NOT here to try to force a certain lifestyle on anyone. My long term subscribers have heard me say the words "your life, your rules" in many of my videos. If fapping to adult sites is your thing and you don't feel any negative consequences, then hey, I have absolutely no problems with that, and if that's what you want, you should keep doing that. Again, your life, your rules. This is NOT about shaming anyone. My videos are simply here for those who WANT to give it up because they've noticed it leading to negative consequences in their life. Many people have a real addiction to adult sites nowadays.
#2: My videos are information only and they are not medical advice. If you need such advice, please see a doctor. I'm just a guy who likes to read and learn a lot, and in my videos I simply share my experiences, and what I have learned, with my audience. Again, I'm not a doctor nor an expert, and further; I assume no liability for the application of the information discussed in my videos. ALWAYS do your own research!

@@demirpantolon299 yea i guess the glow in face comes because when u are fapping, u produce high amounts of dopamine, and as dopamine increases, melanin(which is a pigment that causes darker skin) also increases, so if u stop fapping, dopamine will decreases hence melanin decreases and u get that glow on face, so u can say dopamine is directly proportional to melanin.

Dude today is day 42 for me as well and I cannot stress how much people are missing out by not doing nofap. I’ve noticed that the smaller things in life like music, a long talk with an old friend, going out with friends for coffee, etc have made me wish I wasn’t wasting my teen years fapping upwards of like 5 times per day at my worst point. Also, is the childhood joy like a nostalgic sense? Because that’s what I’ve been having since about day 30

Day 25 myself after 20 year addiction. I'm definitely feeling that flatline, been feeling more anti-social than usual and getting irritated even by mild inconveniences and setbacks. Plus the memories of porn is still giving me problems, and part of me is hoping for a wet dream just so I can get some relief. Been taking cold showers about twice a day (one for wake up and the second for cleaning) and working out about 5 days a week to get the extra excitement out of my system. Hoping to get out of this slump soon enough.

@@alexthebeastxx Good news: I made it to day 30 Bad news: I lost it afterwards, the constant mental vigilance was driving me up the wall and I just couldn't keep up with it, now I'm back at 0. The only saving grace was that even if I didn't do it, my body definitely was going to do it for me. Because as embarrassing as this is to admit, I barely did a thing before I OG'd, so safe to say I was about to blow. So now, after that and a couple days of dealing with chasers (NO BINGE!), I'm back to day 0 and trying to get back on the wagon.

@@MetalHeadbanger7how you holding up?
@MetalHeadbanger7
@MetalHeadbanger7 7 ай бұрын
@@joev7014 I have had major reset in the last 16 months. To start with, about two Augusts ago I've lost a family member who has helped raise me since birth; so as you can imagine, I had to deal with Post-mortem depression for several months. During that time I've pretty much dropped everything and heavily fell back into my old habits. Summertime of this year was when I started to snap out of it and tried to get back on the nofap wagon. Needless to say it was a real struggle as I was back at ground zero trying to get myself back to where I was before. Porn, thankfully, was one of my lesser struggles as originally I only watched them long enough to get my 'relief', so getting myself back off it wasn't a huge ordeal for me. As far as the fapping itself; I've found that streaks, while a great method, is not the only method. The method I'm using is like a nofap version of a cheat day. For one day a week, I allow myself to fap on the condition that I only do it if the urges are strong enough to justify it; and when I do 'need' to fap, that I don't do it to porn (obvious), and that I focus on minimizing how many times I do it in that 24 hours period; right now I'm down to 3 to 4 times, trying to get myself down to two. My intention is to train my mind and body to get used to lower amounts of fapping in hopes of someday that I can go for longer periods again, or even go full retention, but I know that's still a long ways off. So far it seems to be working, I mean I still have urges and dirty thoughts throughout the week, but nothing overwhelming and they only last a few seconds before they're gone. The great news is that I think I'm finally starting to reap the benefits; some things that I've seen hundreds of times to a point that I just don't excited or appreciate it like I would the first few times, they're now starting to move me like they used to. So yeah I think my dopamine baseline might actually be going down, it's small but noticeable. As far as my habits is concerned; unfortunately I had to abandon the cold showers. You see I work the night shift and I've discovered that cold showers hinge on your body's natural time clock. How I found this out is that when I take cold showers before work, when everybody else is going to bed, I go to work TOO relaxed, so I struggle to get myself up to speed; then when I take a cold shower before bed, when everybody else is getting up, I end up struggling to sleep even with sleep aids. So while cold showers do do their job as advertised, it is not meant for night people like myself. I haven't gotten myself back to working out yet, but soon as I open up enough space in my house, I am getting one of those elliptical-exercise bike hybrids. I already do alot of manual labor at work, so all I need is a workout for the heart and lungs. Plus at least this way, when I get an urge, I don't have to worry nearly as much about overtaxing my body like one normally would with weight lifting. But the good new is that I'm almost off the drink, I'm down to one a day on the weekends I only 5 cans of Busch left before I call it quits. I'm more of a social drinker anyway and everybody I know has either quit or very clearly needs to quit, and it's just not nearly as fun drinking by myself. Welp I think that just about covers it.

Word of advice: don't treat relapsing as a reset. If you eat healthy for a month and then eat McDonald's once, it doesen't really affect your health as long as you get back on your healthy diet. Same goes for NoFap. I used to treat relapses as a reset and it usually led to "I relapsed anyway, might as well enjoy porn for a few days", which then eliminated most of my progress. Lately I've been relapsing about once/twice a month and I just treat it as a minor setback. Let's say one relapse takes your streak 3 days back, but if you binge and fap 3 times in one evening, it takes you 30 days back. I honestly feel great and motivated to last longer than before. I feel great. Good luck, you can do it my friends

@@Beacers Lasted 40 days. Never tried again, and never had to. Currently in the best physical shape of my life, depression free, and am currently in a 2-year relationship with a beautiful girl. Do I think it helped? I guess so, it is definitely an improvement in your quality of life if you have genuine problems with pornography and fapping, but it will never be a substitute for true inner peace, as I was hopping, with this I mean that NoFap won't solve any priority problems in your life, it will just be of some help regarding pornography and fapping. If this is something that anyone struggles with, I think it does help, but therapy will be a better option, in most cases this kind of behavior (compulsive fapping and phonography addiction, as was my case) has a way deeper root than just pure dopamine rushes.

Either way, I'm getting close to my record and fully expect to surpass it. I do have pain in my lower abdomen and have gotten that both times in the past. I remember that it finally went away towards the end the last time I made it really far. I'm already getting morning wood so I'm not sure how long my recovery will be. Regardless, I'm in this for the long haul. Had I known that this could be so addictive and it's effects I would have never let it get out of control.
