In comparision to what EU players face, NA is like preschool there is that one child that is weird and ppl like to play pranks on him , While EU is middle school and you are the prey of everyone in the damn class, so hard that you don´t even want to go to school anymore. If you play on EU in the morning you face sweaty russian swf, red ranks that purposely get themselves a low rank survivor into the team, so the algorithmn is versing them against low rank killers. And those killers, get blinded, stunned, bodyblocked, tbagged, spun around, dead harded, bted. Healing right in front of the killers face. Gens get completed into that killers face etc. No free hits, they are sending you to Ormond or Haddonfield with offerings, If you survive that tough as hell learning curve on EU servers, you can say that you understood how to play killer. I have friends that played on Asian servers, and they had almost no toxicity or bullying there. And NA seems fine to me in comparision to what EU is like.

As a 50/50 player I agree. The whole "be afraid of killer, killer power role fantasy" is tainted goods. Truth is this isn't a horror game and killer isn't the "final boss." It's a more complicated hybrid of Tag/Hide and Seek. I'm same if I'm killer as long as your not teabagging,or clicking your flashlight/spamming vaults I'm good. Or if your that survivor that immediately runs to Fun Bus the second I hit you no matter where you are on the map, that's annoying too. And as survivor all I ask is don't Facecamp me and don't swing at me the second my feet touch the ground deliberately ignoring other survivors trying to take aggro. Unless the gates are powered I'm a firm believer there's no such thing as tunneling or camping when the gates are powered.

Can survivors not be considered sweaty in your opinion? Not trying to be antagonistic, I'm actually curious.
@ScottJund3 жыл бұрын
Sweaty to me is those who prioritize winning over having fun, simple as that. See: 4 man tourney squads playing matches against randoms and utterly stomping them with no bold plays, all split up, intentionally letting people die to enhance gen time, etc.
@olive83823 жыл бұрын
This is actually not sweaty at all if you compare it to what they could be doing. And they're not running all meta perks though? Are we looking at the same endgame screen? Stake out, inner strength, wglf, only 1 ds, 2 bts, bit of adrenalines and iw and then the dead hards/lithe. You can compare this to what scott is running, good perks in general - not a sweaty build. Sweat squad would have multiple ds + unbreakable and most likely more sprint bursts instead, also quite possibly one object to call out information to the rest, maybe even map offering. Possibly medkits instead of flashlights. Most importantly sweat squads play differently - these guys were clearly fearless and didn't care much about the killer, grouped up, let the killer hit them for free. If they were sweating they would have did the most efficient thing, just split up and did gens, instead you can see that they were messing around a lot. This just seemed like a pretty intense and enjoyable game, I'd really rather play against this than a real sweat squad or a team full of immersed players.

"Meta" perks don't make someone sweaty, they just so happen to be strong perks that are worth running over others. Just being in comms doesn't make you sweaty. The problem is that it's often not used like that, but in an aggressive way, like that Felix repairing in front of him in the shack. DS used defensively is fair, but the aggressive component is not at all. Maybe semantics to some, but atleast for me I disagree strongly on your depiction on bully squad. Sweaty squad is a SWF which optimizes and coordinates everything and can be bold as mentioned to benefit the team. They can coordinate tactics and items that can be unfun for killer, but they're only picked to tip the odds more for in their favor. Bully squad first and foremost objective is to ruin killers experience, everythings is secondary, even winning. Manifested in teabags, clicking, all kinds of other obnoxious behaviors such as spamming vault to spam the explosions for killers or run double OoO jus to point the killer. While sweaty squad is not inherently bad on moral level, it can still be awful to go against. Bully squad as name implies is just getting the kicks from malice actions and such should be clearly disinguished from the normals swf's and should be heavily frowned upon.
@lazarusbooth88983 жыл бұрын

scott, buddy, you got 32K points with 3 kills and 11-10 hooks. literately just shy of a perfect victory and the last guy made it out by the skin of his teeth. That's a clear victory in my book. Focusing on just getting the 4k is just not enough for me and isn't as challenging overall. my personal draw or tie conditions for killer are as follows. 1.getting roughly equal amount of BP the collective average of the survivors BP. 2.get 2 kills. 3.get to at least a safety pip (even if I am already rank 1). for Survivor it is as follows. 1.having 2 survivors escape. (myself escaping is a bonus) 2. having higher average blood points collectively as a team compared to the killer. 3. getting at least a safety pip. anything less for me than these requirements is a loss. additionally, getting 2/3 of the requirements for killer or Survivors counts as victory. I feel like this is as close to the wins conditions that the devs "intended" for dbd and is why I chose to use these requirements tp judge my gameplay.

He always says since theres no win condition in this game that winning can be whatever anyone wants it to be. This match really shows how strong the new WGLF is on SWF. Unbreakable already is a strong anti-slug perk that can make you lose games just because one person picked themself up, but with WGLF, and with fearless survivors like that, you don't even have a chance to get multiple people on the ground at once, since if you slug someone, the 2 other survivors will probably immediately go pick the other person up as you chase someone else.

@TheAzarak3 жыл бұрын
The problem that you and Jen didn't seem to address during that game on stream is that these survivors are aggressive as hell because they can; because of their perks and not their skill. If you weren't one of the top 4 or so killers like you were (specifically if you weren't a very mobile killer like you were), you would have gotten stomped and there would have been NOTHING you could have done about it. That's the problem people complain about. These types of survivors abuse every second chance perk they have to almost become un-counterable. Even as Blight, if they didn't underestimate you like they did several times, you would have still lost. They just made too many mistakes, some being really bad, like not seeing pallets right in front of them, etc. If they were better survivors, no chance. Now play against them as mid-tier killers, wraith or ghostface, or bubba, etc. You would have been utterly destroyed with no chance. That's what's bullshit, and they know it's bullshit, so really, they are trying to bully, they are trying to take advantage of their immunity perks. You can't tunnel them, you can't slug them (WGLF basically a better and reusable unbreakable now), you can't camp them, and you can't even do anything about them doing gens in your face after being unhooked. Hell, you can't even properly chase them because every time they finally make a mistake, they just get away Scott free (pun intended) with Dead Hard and extend the chase by 50% while the other 3 are pushing gens while injured. And I won't even get into their coordination, because that's honestly the part that makes it work as well as it does. TL;DR you wouldn't be making this video if you played against them as pretty much any other killer except maybe nurse. Even spirit does not have the map pressure to handle this type of group.
@maxt38323 жыл бұрын
its not black and white like that. if you give 4 green rank survivors ds, bt, ub, and dh theyll get stomped by any red rank killer no matter who theyre playing. you can win in this game without meta killers, the only time you cant is if youre against a top1% death squad who only do gens.

If they're trying to bully, take advantage of it. Usually against bully squads in my experience, they'll be two or 3 survivors trying to mess with me while the last one sticks on gens all game, don't commit to chases too long, get a pallet or two out of someone and rotate. If you don't get a pallet or a hit in 15 seconds of chase, you most likely did something wrong. I only play Ghostface although I have started to play a lot of Legion lately as well so I deal with squads like this all the time. Not "Death" squads but bully squads who try to make me suffer as much as possible since I'm playing mid tier and under killers. If you have to force someone to second stage, do it. If you want to slug, do it. Don't try to play nicely at all. If they're gonna ruin my fun, I'll play the same game but most of all don't get tilted. That's what they want. If it's a bad map for killer like Ormond or Cowshed aim to get 2 of them because at the end of the day, getting two of them on unfavourable maps while they run every second chance perk available is perfectly okay and don't give them any attention in post game chat. I've found that if you are getting gen rushed, slugging works best. Because if you try to hook one or two survivers immediately, their teammates will pump out gens. You gotta give the survivors a choice: do the gens, or save your teammates. The ideal scenario would be: you slug one survivor, then slug another. After you get the second guy, go back and hook the first guy. Chances are there will be someone attempting to pick them up. If you can get a free hit, do it, but don't commit to the third guy. You get the hook, then go back to the slugged survivor. At this point you can snowball your way to victory! Just remember: you have to give them a reason to get off gens, but don't feel bad if you need to sacrifice a gen for the sake of map pressure.

It's not being a "whiny bitch," it's just a refusal to accept complacency.
