Haha yea it’s a big yard. I put a post on fb one day of my hunting app that tracks your walking. I was there on a Sunday so no golf carts or shuttle van so I walked the whole yard. I think it was like 6.3 miles of actual walking I was turning the tracking off when I was driving back to my truck.

Dannggg and I was trying to get in at the West Point terminal, that’s a lot of walking

It is a huge yard but they have a ton of work and they tend to be good at keeping loaded

Yes spot on. I think work will kinda hold at these levels for about a year or so. I think the new and used car markets are gonna teeter back and forth for a bit. So right now we are filling dealers back up with new cars and as those sell they will begin to fill up with used. So right now the new car market is strong because the dealers need new cars but the used markets have tanked because they need the used cars so they aren’t sending much to auction. But as everything fills up in 6 months the new car market will slow because they will be keeping up with sales not restocking and used will begin to rise because the dealers will be stocked with used and will start moving the extras to auction. And it will go back and forth like that for the next year or two until the economy rebounds and then cars will start flying off the lots again.

I agree with you!! One thing that I like about car hauling is that I wouldn't need to deal with groceries receivers or Shipper. I know that dealership can be a pain the butt too. But you have more control since you load and unload the freight(cars). I have been watching your videos more than one time. They are very interesting. I have been driving since 2011 with no preventable accidents or citations. I think there is money to make in the car hauling industry. When everything is good. You can make money everywhere you go. Dry van, reefer, tanker and flatbed. One thing that I like is to be an independent contractor.(IC). I like freedom even though freedom comes with responsibility. I have been an (IC) since 2013. United has a ton of freight around nc from carmax going in and out to new cars going to nc

Honestly I don’t know but I will say at the end of the year you just file to get that money back. It’s a pretty simple process. I do it with ga because Tennessee doesn’t have started taxes either. Not normally for me it has a lot to do with hauling 10 cars. When I do that I have to have specific types of vehicles in specific spots to make height

I’ve just found it easier to make height over the hood then the truck of the car.

@seenplay79 the schedule is what you want it to be. As long as you hit your numbers your work week is what is gonna work best for you. And yes you get holidays off if you want to take them
