Love that sleepy eyed seal! He seems puzzled by the appearance of a human. All that gorgeous white sand....The stark outlines of the short trees around you putting up your tent are very striking, reflecting the sternness of the environment. Glad you moved your tent! That ocean looks ferocious. Loved seeing the sunset taking place. BRRRRRR...low 30s overnight. The long distance shot of you in the early morning with the sunrise behind you is calendar worthy. Wow...the ocean came right up to the front door of your earlier setup. I find your videos to be quite meditational. Your movements are so methodical, your demeanor so steady, the steady roar of the ocean, the starkness of the landscape... are all so zen! I must admit I love your food breaks! Your simple menu choices always seem so delicious! I worried about you a bit as you trekked back through the area where the ocean meets the Great South Bay, And walking through all that water... your feet must have been freezing. Your videos have become so artistic with the intervals of music and scenes of local flora and fauna. Keep up the good work of inspiring all of us to treasure the wilderness in our own backyard here on LI!

Thanks for sharing, these are awesome adventures. I am sure people who live in NYC, NJ and and other northeast areas sometimes forget or have no clue of the raw natural beauty around us. As a surfer, and fishing addict, surfcasting dork I appreciate the spirit and approach of how you move. ✌🏾🤙🏾

when it's windy you should use a windbreak for those stoves... even in the hole or some foil... it makes the stove burn hotter / faster... i recommend the MSR WindPro II instad of the PocketRocket. Almost the same weight but alot better.

Thank you for watching and commenting! It was the "Worm Moon" and it caused really high tides. I think it has since subsided and you can cross the Old Inlet with no problem.

No, I'm not a small guy and physically feel confident about handling myself. They'd have to be crazy to come bother me. 😉

I didn't see any. It was very early spring so not yet active. I usually camp there in the Winter, Spring and Fall. Not the summer. Mosquitos are bad in the summer too.
