Like a Mat class, but upright! We'll be on our feet for the entirely of this total body standing Pilates workout. Don't underestimate this one - it's a total challenge! We'll use light hand weights and a block to complete standing core, upper body, and lower body flows. We challenge balance and stability as we go. I loved this class!

EQUIPMENT NEEDED:
-Set of light hand weights/wrist weights (I'm using 2lbs)
-Yoga block (this is the one I use: amzn.to/3sXdGzC) - if you don't have a yoga block, a large hardcover textbook will work
If you're used to taking Classical Pilates classes, this will be a smidge different. I'm trained through STOTT, which is a contemporary, anatomy-driven approach - and then I put my own flair on top of that. :)

This is a tough one. Those burns are real, especially for my left calf. Standing twists, no matter they are open twists or closed twists, are killing me. Time for some TLC. Thanks for this fun and creative class.

This really tested my balance. I couldn't do the end with my heels on the block cause I have bad knees, I started getting shooting pain in my knees.

Theresa, be careful. I got hurt doing this too. this is going on everywhere with these blocks. These silly cows think we like it. Reminds me of the exercise classes when you’re looking to the person next to you hoping to keep up. just eat some protein for lunch. Much of looking better is watching what you eat and just some good basic exercise. Blocks are for blockheads.😅
