Yeah the technician class was pretty OP especially on some maps. Once on the forest moon of Endor the Ewoks and their rebel allies had taken all my command posts but the one in the bunker and I was left alone to fight the 105 remaining rebel scums along with the native inhabitants. To face such odds, I was forced to retreat to the bunker and wait for them to arrive in force. I heavily relied on the ammunition droid which I was repairing pretty often to give me everything I needed and the healing droid next to the shield generator to be in the best shape possible and so I ended up killing almost all of them from this position and after their numbers where sufficiently reduced I did a counter attack, it was pretty hard because even if they were only about 15 rebels left most were snipers and the Ewoks were constantly retaking the captured command post so I was always on the move. But thanks to the ray produced by the sniper shots I could see from which direction they were firing and I killed all the rebels and the victory was ours or rather mine because my entire company was dead. Thus is the power of infinite bacta capsules and ammunitions!

battlefront 2 should've only had the two canon trilogies, the prequels and the ot, the sequels only drag it down and eat away at the content for those two

This game was so much fun to play, and it brings back memories. Much better than EA's crapfest reboot. Whenever I was playing as the villains in Assault mode, I usually play as the heavy hitters like Anakin, Maul, and Grievous, and I would give everything I got with tactics and skills, which would help give the villain side the advantage.

Galactic Conquest does have multiplayer. Classic multiplayer. It's called split screen and I play it with my son.

This game is really good. I remember me wanting this as a little kid seeing the campaign and some mods of the game. I eventually got a copy but it did not work on my PC. I finally got around to play it once I got it on steam. I enjoyed the campaign, the only part I struggled is the Jedi temple mission. I did complete the mission after the 3rd try. Otherwise, I didn’t struggle too much in the campaign. After I beated the campaign, it was time to install some mods that I have always wanted to try out since I saw them on BF2 mod case like what Kryo and Savage01st do. The mods that enjoyed the most is the Clone Wars Extended 3.0 mod, Pax Empiricae mod and the Republic Commando mod in terms of content wise. In addition, they are mods that improve the quality of life of the game such as the unofficial 1.3 patch and Commander Awesome’s skin changer mod, these mods are helpful for lore accurate battles and/or bigger battles or cinematic purposes. Once I got my dedicated gaming PC, I did install Harrison Fog’s skin changer and his enhanced maps with better graphics, he also does make new maps such as Sullust (Based on EAfront 1’s design) Geonosis Asteroid Ring. You can play Heroes vs Villains on Geonosis Asteroids, as well a new game mode called Siege. I have played Siege as the Republic, it is similar to the Hoth Campaign mission, instead to you take out the fuel cells rather than power generator and also have to capture all command posts or annihilate the enemy’s ticket count.

I just want to mention you can play against other people in Galactic Conquest on the same console.

The way rewards work is that they come in four tiers. 1: The reward grants nothing. 2: The reward grants a powerup or weapon until you die and/or switch classes. 3: The reward grants the power up or weapon for the rest of the match. 4: The reward grants the power up at the start of every match but you retain the original weapon until you switch off of it.

I'm still disgusted by EA's Battlefront II. What a complete disgrace to the name "Star Wars". I'd rather get out my old PS2 and fire OG Battlefront 2 up then ever play that EA piece of shit ever again. It wasn't just the pay to play nonsense, it was everything.

In the new battlefront 2 I find that enemy hero’s come outta nowhere and slice your head off It’s annoying for someone who doesn’t know how to play heroes

Hey, did you know about the Saga edition mod of the game? It includes more color saturation, sharper textures and improved graphics, making the game pop up more easily. You can also play as various clone battalions, legions and corps in iconic locations as well as in the campaign. You really should check it out.

Forget EA's battlefront II. Just download some mods for this game and you're set.

Battlefront 2 is one of the great SW games. I reckon if it had a bit more development, it'd be damn near perfect, as mods have proven.

Can you review both empire at wars next?

I actually beat the 2005 Battlefront II campaign on my PS2 without getting myself killed once. I even have my in game statistics saying so, and have the Hero Rifle, and Advanced Pistol permanently unlocked, with the rank of General. Heroes and Villains and Galactic Conquest was one of the most fun split screen multiplayer gaming experiences that I, my friends, and relatives enjoyed. I would have gotten the new rerelease of it, if they didn't fuck it up so badly.

I own a Series X and an S! :D Something I pointed out numerous times, the problem with EAFront is lack of scale with the newer games. It feels very scripted and toned down, to where it feels more like a movie rather than actual Star Wars battle. The original Battlefront 3 was supposed to have Space to Ground battles, to where the player could freely traverse between the two. Instead of through a cutscene to where all the players are dragged back and forth, rather than having players freely pilot a gunship or a dropship and going towards the enemy capital ship or to the planet below. Not to mention every vehicle is used primarily one person in EAFront, there's no player teamwork to where you could have multiple players in one vehicle or even the ability to repair that said vehicle. And once you get out of it, it blows up rather than letting someone else take control of it or have a buddy or yourself repair it. I really like certain maps from BF1 (OG 2004) over BF2 (OG 2005) and especially the fact there were more maps to control air vehicles in. Geonosis in BF1 I believe was a better map than BF2's. There were maps like Bespin Platforms, Tatooine: Dune Sea, Naboo: Plains, (the console versions were a little different to the PC release) Kashyyyk: Islands, and a couple of others I enjoyed more than BF2's. BF2 was awesome, but i think there was a lack of awesome outdoor open maps for more air vehicles and tanks battles.

Bf2 og is a masterpiece but some people think ea bf2 is better than the og bf2 and i just don't understand why. Maybe because some people haven't played the og bf2 but ea bf2 isn't even good.

The reboot of this game was disgustingly stupid, original Battlefront I and II are some of my favorite games of all time, when it comes to first person shooter it's my absolute favorite two. I like it better than Call of Duty games. The rebooted versions, I won't even play. Can I call myself a Prequel Hater even if I understood the Plot of the Prequels? I generally hate the Prequels because I don't think they're good films (Lucas is not a very good director, not that great at writing three-dimensional characters, needs good Producers and people to tell him No like his Original Trilogy had). Also the Expanded Universe's take to pre-New Hope I generally liked more: * It sounded like Anakin and Obi-Wan were actual friends * The Clone Wars according to the Thrawn books wasn't Clone Army vs Droid but various Republic Powers abusing Cloning Technology and create private militaries and so was outlawed * The Prequels retconned details like Yoda being Obi-Wan's Master I still liked a lot of the visuals, music and the fact that it told a different story from the Original Trilogy (I'm looking at you Sequel Trilogy). I did like the US Civil War and Roman Republic-to-Empire themes, I just thought they weren't told very well (starting Episode I with trade disputes didn't help). And hey, the Early 2000's was the Height of the Best Star Wars Video Games (Book-wise, pre-Prequels I still think the 90's were generally better though), so we got great games then!
