Skithiryx totally deals combat damage, even if it is in form of poison counters. It should count for first blood!

is there a reason why cards are only shown for a few seconds on screen? why even revert to the card back and not just keep whatever was cast last up until the next card is played

Stephen could've killed Jon with commander damage, his life total can't change but the damage isn't prevented :p

@@rexone9564 yes it is, for example, a Questing Beast commander can kill a Teferi’s Protection player with commander damage

@@jack229111 That is a bad example slightly because QB says "damage can't be prevented" on it and protection prevents the damage. So they'll still take both forms of damage (regular and commander). That said, damage is still done but Emperion just changes the life total to make it so it can't change after. Lifelink still gains you life and commander damage still happens.

One of the ways I think this idea could’ve been made more balanced is just have 4 different budgets: $50, $100, $150, and $200. Each player picks one at random and everyone has to be different. Also let people pick their commanders I think. Either way this was tons of fun! Thanks!

Just some immediate feedback before I watch beyond the 4 minute point, I actually like hearing the banter and table talk while they are spinning and figuring out what they are getting. Please consider leaving that in the episodes in the future.

Yeah. 7 minutes in and I'm actually pretty disappointed in the overall opening. No deck tech discussion of what their decks might do. Only showed the commanders on screen for about 2 seconds before spinning. No discussion of what their commanders are going to be doing for their decks. :(

You should consider for your next Randomonium using the Questing Beast site to randomly select a custom made commander for each of you, and then build a deck around the plethora of abilities it grants you.

Not gonna lie I thought eureka was banned in edh and wow. Was also worried about the crazy luck of 3 people getting some of the relatively few partners and also not giving them partners. But on the positive side I'm so happy the guys had SO much fun playing this game and it was great to see

As fun as it was I also really hate this episode like on some point they didn't even cared about the rules anymore. For example: Jon had 11 Commander dmg (never shown) and would have lost at the attack from Steven because commander dmg is seperate from life total. Jon wouldn't have gotten a spider Token, Jeremy wasn't allowed to cast Ulamog. On some point it was just a really weird mess and I don't know but that was super disapointing to see.
