Lol thats awesome!! I had lots of experience with babies growing up and wanted to do L&D. Had a super bad instructor and had to make complaints (I did after I found out other students did too), I was 18 and unsure... but I got confidence back after that experience and loved old people so much I never left! Im glad it went this way. We dont ever know which way our life will take us but out experiences do shape us. 🙏❤️☺️

That's hilarious! Everyone has to start somewhere. It's funny because my husband was the similar when I gave birth. Didn't know how to change a diaper, learned how quickly his patience could be tested by a crying baby, and has learned that being thrown up on is a normal thing now. 😂 Meanwhile I have 3 younger siblings with a 10 year age gap from me, and grew up with all younger cousins.

😂😂 This must have been too good! The sight of that😂😂😂 But yes...14 years old, zero experience with a baby. It's almost like they aren't human. I had my first experience with a newborn, when I was 9. Wasn't good either. I wanted to spend time with the baby, I was excited about it and my mother kept mentioning that we were gonna visite her friend who got the baby. So the day comes, we arrive and then they made me hold the baby! I didn't want to, I wasn't sure if I could hold the head. And the mother of the child AND my own mother handed me the baby. Told me how to place my arms etc. I was stiff as a brick wall, trying not to move so I wouldn't change the hold I had on it. And they both just left me there in the kitchen, hushing me when I wanted to say, I couldn't hold it anymore cos it was heavy as hell! Mind you I was way under average height and size as a child. Everything hurt, cos the little one... 3 months old I believe...was just heavy and moving around. I cried for a long while after finally they stopped ignoring me. But they still were so into their conversation...she just took the baby and kept on talking. I was traumatised by this and tried to shake it off and go see what my sister was doing with the other kids that were there. I remember the baby's name. Christina. But I don't think I ever saw her again. Well, most babies I hold in my life, her included, loved me. Don't know why. They are calm, they are having fun. They only cry if they weren't ok to change from the one person holding them to me in the first place. You know that? When you clearly see the baby wants to stay were it is, but they need to change into another set of arms? Like when handed to the doctor or so?😅 Poor little ones. Last baby I got to hold was my nephew. His younger brother I never got to hold at all due to his mother. But the older one, he liked me too. Bit too much maybe... I could calm him down in no time. Just by holding him, giving him a soft talk, soft voice and a liiiittle bit of a squeeze. To let him know he is safe and not alone. I won't ever forget how he felt in my arms. So tiny, so warm and so cute.

That's awesome. It just means you end up with sympathy for baby questions that others might think are overly basic.

My sweet husband was unexperinced with babies when we had our baby. He did know to hold the head and such but not much more. After my c-section they told him he could come and hold our baby. When he came over to me his arms were outstretched with our baby just laying in his hands (He learned how to hold him properly shortly after) Now that we are having another one hes a lot more confident in his abilities to take care of a newborn

@anathenurse, great video. Curious about something, why do you wear GM and why not other brands? What are your thoughts on FIGS? Have you done any videos on scrub wear lately ?
