China isn't a subcontinent. Splitting Eurasia into subcontinents gives you something like Europe, Middle East, South Asia, Southeast Asia (including Indonesia and Philippines) and East Asia. Central Asia can be added/divided among some of these or included as it's own part.

@@Zwijger Well I was refering to eu4 and I am not sayig that it is a region. In Eu4 China is considered a super-region consisting of North China and South China regions. I personaly don't consider China it's own subcontinent (but it probably made more sence in the past). I never said that. I was refering to ingame mechanic. Since that's what the mission checks, on all provinces that are in China super-region, not owned by Qing nor a core of Qing you will get a core.

@@general8191 Some of the American ideas are pretty good, and Vermont has +15% Morale of Armies+10 Revolutionary Zeal (First Idea), +5% discipline (Ambition), -50% Native Uprising/+50% Native Ass (3rd Idea), Heretic and Heathens don't give any penalties/-15 percent stab cost modifier (traditions), and those are the good ones.

@@general8191 question which idea in USA idea group is useless imo the USA is best nation in the new world by long shot simple for economic reason the -10 minuim autonomy is under rated epically since your most like playing as republic and in single player the enomic hegemony is the only good one the minimum autonomy modifiers stack quickly and they can get something like -70 or -60 minuim autonomy per province in trade regions

Nah mate, what you do is dithmarshen, Sardinia Piedmont, Austria, Prussia, Germany. Not only you get 25% admin efficiency but also 45% goods produced.

@@kankuj23 Wouldn't you have 30% admin efficiency at that point? (25% from all the missions and 5 from German ideas) But it will definitly take a very long time to do that. Just forming Germany as dithmarschen takes a long time, getting the other provinces too will be difficult but in the end you will have at least 70 admin efficieny with 20 more to come from tech, which will get you up to the cap of 90%. You could get even more if you form either Russia or France instead of Germany and then form the HRE, as they both have 5% in their missions aswell. So 35% is the maximun you can permanently get.

@@ninjam77 forgot sardiania also gives you admin efficiency. You could form Russia or France but you wouldn't get that sexy 20% goods produced.

I’ve done a Oirat-Yuan-Mongol Empire game and it was pretty fun, the Ming wars can be RNG dependent but besides it’s an interesting campaign, especially if you haven’t had much experience with hordes.

You do have a point there actually. With the vassal swarm its a lot stronger than actually forming the hre tag, but still, even formed it is still a force to be reckoned with

The thing is, Imperial Germany gets another 5% admin from it's missions (they have a few missions different) and they have better ideas by far, so even though HRE is amazing in 1.30, Germany still wins it out

Good points but I disagree that Germany has better ideas than HRE if you just compare the ideas and don’t add in what Prussia adds to Germany. For military they both have 5% discipline. Germany gets 15% infantry combat ability and .5 yearly army tradition but HRE gets 15% morale. To me I’d take the morale so I think there is a slight edge for HRE (again Prussia’s add to Germany would definitely make Germany stronger than HRE but on a straight compare of ideas I think HRE wins here). For economy Germany is definitely stronger, as 20% goods produced is huge. That will not only boost production income but also boost trade, so their added trade efficiency really makes Germany an economic powerhouse. The HRE’s 20% tax is nice but compared to what Germany has its weak. As you might expect though HRE comes through on diplo. A whopping 33% improve relations basically makes everyone love them, kills any possible coalitions, and almost eliminates any negative Diplo impact of expansion. Then the 20% CCC is massive for expansion. The true gem for HRE though is the 10% gov cap. A percentage gov cap improvement is top tier to me, especially with an empire that has high dev provinces. So I guess it depends on priorities, as Germany certainly has better economy, but HRE has better expansion capabilities. Anyway, I loved this video as all of your content is awesome!

quick hints on top of my head, start as Sirhind it comes with a very powerfull leader and a 3star general you'll be a vassal of Delhi but it's the easiest vassal state to break free with. You can look for help as usual by Delhi's rivals. But most of the time you'll be fine by yourself. You'll quickly own most Punjab core provinces, once you conquered all or you feel you got enough of those, release and play as vassal and break free again as Punjab. If you wonder which provinces have Punjab cores just click on the province to see if their flag is present (just below dev) You also start with probably the richest State in the WORLD named Lahore which consist of 5 farmland provinces with great trade goods such as silk, paper, cloth and dyes (yeah i played there a bit too much). Because of farmlands developing will be cheap there and planting dev bombs to keep up with institutions is highly advisable. If you want to go for the Sikh Pun achievement, don't fred Sikh will pop up a bit past 1480. I hope that will help you a bit.

@@triplesharigan Thanks for the advice, I actually had a Sirhind campaign going because I clicked random nation, broke free from Delhi, allied big chungus Timurids but then I formed Delhi and they broke because of historic rivalry :D Definetly gonna try that campaign again in the future to play as Punjab ASAP :D

Start as Sirhind, eat Delhi but don't reform it, carve out a chunk of the Lahore trade node (plus Doab and Gujarat if feasible) and play tall until Sikh and Admin 10 come online. Then use your religion and unique reforms to beat up everyone. 1.31 will have more unique Sikh mechanics, so you might wait for that, too.

honestly never thought about it, i would guess so. But then again why would you? If the opponent has naval domination over you he most likely will have enough navy to blockade you regardless it's not that his fleet will get more expensive because of it. And if you dominate the seas just fck up their fleet.

The ideas are perfect for military expansion and the 1.30 mission tree is Roman Empire Easymode, plus of course the best location in the game economically besides maybe GB/Netherlands. I suppose it lacks permanent modifiers and unique reforms compared to what made the list, but the ideas and location alone are incredible.

@@nerdorama009 I think technically English Channel has the highest potential value, because you can pull pretty much the entire worlds trade east to it, and the Merchant passing modifiers get pretty ridiculous if you do

Honestly, whenever they get around to the Zoroastrian/Sikh update I am expecting them to give them a tree. You can't tell me the actual ppl who united Persia shouldn't get a tree, when Taungoo in Burma, an opm and the ones who united Burma iirc has one.

@@christopherlane467 I would be more interested in unique government reforms, more than a mission tree. Those perma buffs are more enticing than getting a bunch of claims and temporary buffs. Which is why Prussia and Mughals are so high on the list.

@@ominousflames14 but there are mission trees in the game that give permanent bonuses...? Also, I thought they technically did get a reform, in that they're the only country to start as a theocratic monarchy iirc. That counts heavily in favor for their early game.

is prussia not on this list because of MP? their power drops if u get too big, but than again i might misunderstand the militarization of Prussia. Don't get me wrong prussia's quality army will be always the best but if a MUCH bigger army which is only slightly less good u got a problem. IMO Russia should be above Prussia, Russia used to be bulk no quality but nowaday's it's only slightly off Prussia's army quality. 10% fire dmg received is HUGE.

They're actually one of the strongest but is most about conquering the new world and getting colonies from Inca and Aztecs, problem is that Netherlands can also do that and be even more overpower. i would say that both are pretty the same gameplay except that Castille > Spain is like easy difficulty and Holland > netherlands hard difficulty.

So thats why i say that. The mix of economy/military is insane, plus the ideas tree wich is ridiculous too
