Lucy, thank you for this. My ex-husband is a lawyer and as a single mum responding to his constant petitions I have been unable to afford a Barrister so these have helped immensely. I was terrified until I saw these and have gained confidence representing myself and coming out proud. I cannot thank you enough because legal fee's are just impossible for single parents. BIG THANKS x

Lucy You have no idea how helpful the three videos were to me. Never been to court before and was terrified and confused what I will do or say and how and when.... This helped clear the procedural issues and so I can focus on the case..

Thanks for producing these excellent videos Lucy. Hopefully new litigants in family courts will have a better understanding of the procedures involved. I will as Chair of FNF Central and Nth London direct people to these videos.

Great helpful video, could you give me an idea of how much a lawyer will change for the first hearing, and how much a Barrister will change for the same thing, thank you

These videos are a massive help, and now I feel confident enough to represent myself. Thank you so much!! How much does it cost to represent yourself by the way?

Great video, thank you. However how does this work in our current climate of Covid?

I loved your videos. They are very helpful for people who cannot afford legals. However, I must say that without an expert barrister at a final hearing hearing, things can go very wrong. The wrong order may be issued. It is also important to mention that there are "Direct Access Barristers" dealing specifically with family law, which after much research and looking at profiles is what we chose and we found her to be invaluable and not as expensive as a solicitor. As long as you can do paper work..

Just get a lawyer, from my personal experience, it makes you much more likely to win the case

Get a lawyer if you have a weak case. If you have a strong case your lawyer will just sit taking money, and prolong the case in order to get more money
