Triumph263 honestly I really want Tzeentch end game to be the destruction of Chaos and the rise of Order. He’s using and growing the power of the Emperor for those means. 40k battles are actually kind of chaotic. It's far more likely for the cycle to be broken by someone accidentally doing so with a Basilisk shell or some stray shell-fire from someone just targeting a grid and having no idea what they're blowing up there.

Seeing as knights are built to work on lightly-augmented human anatomy, i would assume that a standard knight would have a hard time connecting to astartes biology, and an un-augmented astartes (one that doesnt have a mind impulse unit) wouldnt be able to connect whatsoever.

To add to the above answers, the Emperor remained hidden for millennia before revealing himself. How does a huge glowing guy 'hide' himself? I mean lets face it, someone who stands as tall and broad as a Custodes is NOT going to be melding into the crowds any time soon. Ergo, his size is a *choice*, not his original, natural form. Given that his size has remained constant while he was entombed on the Throne suggests to me that he could actually physically shift his form, rather than it being a pure illusion, otherwise the entombed bones would be the same size as a base line humans.... Something else to consider is that in all of the Lore I have seen the Emperor did not appear fully formed, but was in fact born. If a woman could bring the Emperor to term, then a woman can sure as hell bring a child of the Emperor to term, especially as they are unlikely to be as powerful as the Emperor. Even if this was a rare event, the Emperor was still well over 10,000 years old by the time of the Unification Wars. I also remember reading some lore that indicated the Sensei could pass whatever made them Sensei onto their own offspring, though rarely. Trouble is I cannot remember where that came from, and am well aware of the tricks memory plays sepecially as one grows older (I was introduced to 40K through a little game called Rogue Trader). As a result while I do remember reading that, I cannot definitively say it is true, but thought it worthwhile mentioning anyway just in case someone else could confirm it.

Going by the ancient Lost and the Damned Lore they are in some way invisible to the Emperor he can't psychically detect them they sort of 'blend into the background' of the warp. There's two versions of them as well, its not clear if it was a retcon or two separate types but one of them has them as being the actual children of the emperor and thus somewhere between 10K and 45K years old. The other had them as being decedents but not his children a good chunk of the human race has some emperor gene's in them by now and every so often they mix up correctly and produce a sensei. In the former case, yeah, it seems that the Emperor while hanging around with humans might notice he had some kids and they were sort of odd. If they're randomly popping up from a wide pool of his decedents and he can't detect then psychically then I can see him missing them.

They are not perpetuals, though immortal and have inherited some of the Emperor's psychic might, they will never return if they are killed unless GW ever got it in their heads to make a Perpetual Sensei which will likely never happen because the Perpetuals are probably their replacement in the lore. Look at the Horus Heresy for that but frankly, the Sensei make more sense than the Perpetuals who can literally come back from almost any type of death that doesn't involve the Emperor's psychic supernova powers. Seriously, one of them got possessed by a daemon, blew herself up and then reformed from the atoms :P Epic but not making sense whatsoever.

They can still feel emotion, its more the fact the Chaos Gods will never gain any power from them because they will never feel it to such a high enough degree to act upon it like how chaos worshippers would. If they feel angry, they will be able to calm down more quickly, if they feel fear it would fade rather fast, if they feel lust it will not overcome them and death they will embrace as a natural part of life that cannot be avoided even for them. They would come off probably as extremely wise but also rather alien in comparison to other humans, so in a way, yes benevolent psychopaths but still able to function in society without truly drawing too much attention.
