Unfortunately the mortality rate can still be really high due to the stress of capture, transport, and the blood loss, and in some cases the crabs are bled dry and sold for food or fishing bait instead of being released as they should be. It also reduces the affected crabs' reproductive ability until they recover, and their eggs are very important as a food source for other animals. Luckily, the important blood proteins can be made in the lab now.

True story. I was a pizza delivery driver in high-school and had a grateful dead shirt. Dude! Back in the day my mom was dating this guy, who lived with us. Well she decided halfway through a day that we were gonna go out and do something, but I had no shirt clean cause I needed to do laundry. He was "kind" enough to offer me a shirt he had planned on throwing out cause it was old and too small for him. I accepted cause it fit me perfectly, it was a doors band shirt. A few months later and its become one of my favorite shirts cause it was soft AF and comfy. He sees me wearing it, laughs, asks where I even got it because he bets I can't even name three of their songs. Pissed me off *so bad*

ye i have worn a singer's shirt in public i had a tim mcgraw shirt on in middle school, someone told me to prove i was a real fan, so i burst out in lyrics for indian outlaw & i like it i love it, they told me everyone knew those and told me to sing another that most people didnt know so I sang refried dreams. and named every song from his several albums. 54:35 the explanation as requested: the US probably does have the worst tap water ever, but when you visit *any*where new, the tap water is dangerous bc various elements in tap water are usually different from what you're used to and your body doesn't know how to deal with that change. The risk depends on how dramatic that shift is so it varies on where you're from and where you're going and probably intensifies the more different those environments are from each other. For example, going from 1 state to another within the mainland wouldn't be too big of a deal. You *might* get a little stomach ache but would most likely be fine in minutes. But going from a state within the mainland to Hawaii for example, you could be out of commission for hours. TL;DR: it's not just the US's tap water that's dangerous (tho our filtration *is* probably the worst) so if you go anywhere very far from your home, don't drink the tap water bc you might get sick for boring science reasons XD

About the band tees; Since im a sweet little old school scenester, yes. I do get asked if I actually listen to some of the bands I wear a lot! People expect me to listen to more pop, crunk, and EDM but I'm not crunk, I'm more into scenecore and I grew up on rock and metal so that's mostly what I listen to if I'm not listening to something more rave-ey. I get the most questions with 1) Slayer 2) Slipknot 3) Korn 4) Deftones and 5) Nirvana I know only 2 of those is technically metal.and if I wore a NIN shirt I'd get questioned a lot on that, too. But if it helps, I've never had a bad experience with it. And since I grew up on that band I know some pretty niche/kitch songs Wich usually 1) earns their respect, and makes you a new friend you can geek with for an hour or so, or 2) reveals the true poser, someone projecting or just being a jerk. Boo. True fans don't gatekeep! But yeah it does happen a lot. A lot of times people feel nervous or put on the spot or, like grateful dead, Ozzy, and nirvana are wearing it because they like the look, Wich is also fine. And being a dick about them not knowing the band isn't gonna make them wanna listen to it. I knew a gorgeous fairy grunge girl who was literally JUST a swiftie, through and through, not a lick of anything else in her. We had NO similar interests but she was still cool AF and a gorgeous grunge girl. And being a cool person about it, may make them give that tea a sip. Even if it isn't their tea. Her crush always wore a Deftones white pony pull over sweatshirt, but when I told her to inquire about it to kinda get into talking to each other, they both ended up bonding on not knowing a single song by the band 💀 Wich was funny and still cool to watch. Lmao

For the band t-shirts, yes that does happen in the real world. I was wearing an Abbey Road t-shirt to go to a pretty big consert. I shit you not, the ticket checker guy said ‘well I’m not letting you in unless you name three other albums.’ I mean, it’s the Beatles, so naming other albums wasn’t hard but I was so shocked that actually happened in the real world.

17:03 The guy who made that was really so offended by being called out for taking up more space than needed in a public setting that effects *everyone,* that he thought that comparing it to a location failing to provide sufficient bathroom facilities was somehow an 'own.' Without even considering the fact that, damn, men literally have twice as many- or MORE- slots that can be used in the mens' room. There are dozens of things that are actually harmful to men- like the fact that men aren't allowed to express feelings other than anger, aren't allowed to seek help for mental or emotional distress, and those together mean that men are more likely to die in deliberate self-inflicted ways- but, nah. Cultural pressure that causes actual harm is totally fine, but furniture that prevents men from reducing seating capacity to a third of the intended amount in order to feed their ego? That's the *REAL* oppression. 😮‍💨

26:35 that hit me harder then it should. when i was a kid, i loved listening to Whiskey Lullaby, as it sounded nice and helped me sleep through the pain of all the beatings my dad gave me. several years later and me having mastered the English Language to near perfection, i heard it again, and i cried for the first time in nearly 15 years. i rarely cry anymore, but that song somehow gets me every time. Edit: there is another song that makes me cry, and it is called Feed Jake, made by the Pirates of The Mississippi. listen to it. it is a real tearjerker.

I was wearing a Def Leppard t-shirt on a day out with my mother, and the cashier (a grown man who looked no older than my mother) at the gas station we stopped at said, "If you can name two songs I'll give you two coupons for a free drink." And I just stared at him like a deer in headlights because I only knew one song and only had the shirt cause my mom likes getting me old band t-shirts. (He still gave me the coupons, tho)

"Bad" in front of a town name in Germany means "Bath" and is usually there because the town has some historic baths. Similar to "Markt" which signals that this town was allowed to host markets in medieval times.
