im using a cheap hand blender so I really doing think you need a super fine blade to make it

Out of curiosity, I know this wouldn't be traditional but would this work with roasted garlic or would it not emulisfy?

that sounds delicious...not sure if it will emulsify or not but im going to give it a go and get back to you on this :) as if it does work then it will be a smokey garlic sauce

first time it work.. but with a white eggs.. today I tried again.. didnt work and I changed nothing. F me I scrapped lot of expensive olive oil and bunch fo garlic :(

It's a garlic and oil emulsion, a mayonnaise would be an egg and oil emulsion. Some aiolis use eggs as an emulsifier so the garlic and oil don't separate so you could call that a mayonnaise but generally it's not considered authentic Aioli.

I find that toum is very temperature sensitive, either try using oil that has been refrigerated or add ice cubes when blending. It also helps if you grind up the garlic into a paste with salt first in a mortal and pestle before adding oil and lemon juice little by little

@@adamdurrani1071 i did the way first grinding with salt, then i add some oil and lemon juice but there is sth wrong with the recipe, 200 ml oil is too much, it smells oil

Vegetable oil ! Basically inflammatory seed oil 😂😂😂😂By the way olive oil has a yummy taste especially with garlic.

No one uses olive oil to make toum, it affects the flavour too much. Avacado oil is a good substitute but it's too expensive.

@@jordyharlem If you're poor and sick that's your problem, not mine. I would never use inflammatory oils with full of hexane. I am university educated and rich. I can afford to be healthy.
