Can you please let me know what treatment you have taken and how are you now? am having recurrent UTI from past 11 yrs .. There is no burning sensation.. but I get stabbing or poking kind of sharp pain above clitoris.. the moment it stabs I won't be able to step ahead not even a single step 😢 ..

@@Aradhya34569 sorry to hear about that. My symptoms come and go and I haven’t had a bad flare up in a while (where I’m unable to sleep). I find that taking warm epsom salt baths and sleeping with a hot water bottle helps a lot. Also trying to eliminate stress/anxiety by listening to calming music or meditation at night before bed helps me to relax more and sleep better. Hope you feel better soon !

@@Aradhya34569 Hi. While unfortunately I haven't been able to find a permanent solution to my problem I am doing better. I'd advise getting an ultrasound to your bladder, the repeated UTI had actually started to damage mine which left me more vulnerable to infections and it could turn into something more dangerous if left untreated. As for the pain and discomfort I haven't found any explanation yet. I've only managed to find ways to make it more bearable, using small amounts of lubricant eliminates a lot of the discomfort when I have to go out, not wearing tight underwear or pants, I was also prescribed a gel from my doctor to see if it helps but I think it did much. Also speak with a doctor about getting a supplement. Helped me a lot with getting better. Right now I'm at the best point I've ever been the past 5 years, haven't had a UTI in 3 months now but the discomfort and pain come and go in less intense volumes. Sorry I can't really help you more than that. I hope you find a solution soon.

I recently consulted Uro-gynecologist..she inspected and said I have extra skin tag like thing inside labia so suggested surgery.. am not sure whether surgery is required for such tags and can sharp stabbing kind of pain can occur just because of an extra skin tag in that region ..
