What's really commendable, is that unlike so many other KZfaqrs who experimented with their content, topically speaking, and then just promptly stuck to whatever consistently got the most views, Infuso has not done that. He just shook his stuff up, and then simply kept the variety in his output, essentially bettering himself as a content creator, viewership, yet while simultaneously not selling out his viewers that he organically grew with his initial output. Just completely commendable, someone so fully worth sticking by no matter what. Seriously good job Vincent...you have a shit load of integrity.

It really does not make sense why the studio would not want her in 6, since 5 left us off with a messy script and another cliff hanger ending. Jamie was screwed in 5 by retconning the severity of her role of stabbing her step-mother and being mute for 80% of the movie--then the studio wants to screw that character again? Like have some respect for the roles that the audience is supposed to care about and sympathize with. It looks like in the breakdown that was put out by the studio, that the producer's cut is what they were aiming for at that moment (stabbed, shot in the head in the hospital), so I guess you can say she's at fault if she did not like the character summary (even though Farrads' original script had her at least coming back and I think dying in act 3), but hoping things could be negotiated more. The production team would not even budge with talking it over with her unless she emancipated herself. She spent the time and money on that, but then the studio revealed the script to her and she did not get why they were going in that direction (being pregnant with Michael's child--NOT in the original Farrad's script, which I believe he only said in interviews was going to be not fully explained by whom), and she felt pissed off her character and the movie were going in the wrong direction. I think she became on-board with the role towards the end (mostly out of spite I guess just to she can re-coup the legal fees of her emancipation to even be able to have the opportunity for the role), but she was told she was a scale character and would only give her maybe $800 for a week's work of shooting (for which she just dropped $3,000-$4,000 for). At that point she was done and washed her hands of it. In the end, you can just see how Miramax's and Joe Chapelle's refusal of having care for the series bit them all hard in the ass.

With a wage that cost less than what she paid to get in the film. Thats a scumbag move. Its cool though. They did her a favor. Cuz the film was a dumpster fire. They should have stuck to the plan instead of trying to go in a new direction. A direction that made no logical sense.

No. The Weinsteins had no involvement until Bob had to fly to the set to restore order. It was Akkad's Trancas International vs. Nightfall Productions that were clashing. However, Dimension Films ordered the reshot ending after the failed test screening. Everything else can be blamed on Nightfall.

Is that the upcoming film? I saw the 2018 movie. It was okay and I guess it worked since it rebooted the series and Halloween 2 - 6 and H20 never happened....but they really should let this franchise die...or at least that continuity.
