I guess for Tam, it's her smug certainty and perfectly flawless complexion and facial symmetry, plus the joyfulness in her lack of empathy. For the 50 IQ girl, it's her soft deer-in-the-headlights 1000-yard stare, her mumbled sentences and how she clips herself off in the first syllable when it seems she's got more to say. Her open mouth and early Mac Culkin puffy lips leave you expecting to see drool or some truly nauseating mouthbreathing. Even though I know they're acting, I still want to throttle them a little for getting under my skin.

The reasoning is that God doesn't need prayers, just as a father doesn't need his young son to build a shed. The young son can "help" but the father does it anyways. Prayer is for the Christian to improve their own faith.

Because it's a test of faith, the religion focuses heavily on faith and belief. Thus he can't just open their eyes, it's a journey of self reflection that causes you to have faith in God. That's how it's supposed to work according to my knowledge anyways.
